Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Installation Technician to install and repair electrical systems for our clients. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical units in the field. You will also respond to equipment breakdowns, perform on-site repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades. As a representative of Greenheck in Northern, Central, and Southeast Florida, you will occasionally work on and start up Greenheck equipment. We offer all necessary factory-level training, as well as field training with our experienced service technicians.
Key Responsibilities (Please note that VFD experience is just a plus. Looking for mostly Electrical Installation experience).
Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to discuss their VFD electrical needs and requirements.
- Provide basic VFD instructions and equipment training to clients.
Installation and Commissioning:
- Install, troubleshoot, and commission VFD units at clients' locations.
- Review electrical connections to ensure proper application of electrical equipment.
Repair and Maintenance:
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform on-site repairs.
- Test, calibrate, and repair damaged VFD units.
- Perform preventative maintenance on VFD systems to ensure optimal performance.
Greenheck Equipment Support:
- Occasionally work on and start up Greenheck DOAS equipment as needed.
Customer Relations and Sales Support:
- Advise clients on equipment upgrades and promote company products and services.
- Maintain strong customer relations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete work orders and maintain detailed records of services performed.
- Maintain field instrumentation and equipment in good working order.

Roles and Responsibilities

**What you'll do:**
This position is responsible for performing a variety of advanced assembly and electrical operations to finalize our medium voltage switchgear products. Operations would include the use of hand tools, hardware, advanced understanding of blueprints and diagrams. Furthermore, a working knowledge of electricity and circuits is a plus.
**In this function you will:**
- Position and install component parts according to material list and blueprints.
- Assembly includes a wiring task whereby it is necessary to stand, sit, bend and work from a ladder throughout the day.
- Wire lugs are crimped on the end of the wire and are done with manual and automatic crimpers and strippers.
- Execute Point-to-Point wiring diagrams in order to install electrical wiring. Routing of wire from one point to the other requires the ability to plan ahead and work from a schematic.
