PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible for effectively managing and maintaining relationships between IEM and our customers during the order cycle; working directly with our customers and collaborating with other IEM departments to determine and meet customers’ needs. The Major Project Team (MPT) manages orders of $1M or more in value.
This position will work a hybrid schedule out of IEM’s Jacksonville, FL offices – Monday & Friday remote, Tuesday thru Thursday in the office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and/or develop proven systems to track orders from order entry to shipment/delivery to ensure timeliness of shipment to meet customer’s expectations.
- Maintain strong support for and interact with the Regional Sales Managers and outside sales representatives in the bid process, which includes all order management activities.
- Coordinate with other internal departments and outside sales representatives/customers to achieve on-time shipment.
- Review customer Purchase Order and resolve any commercial/technical issues.
- Prepare order for entry along with managing all associated documents and correspondence.
- Participate in engineering handoff meetings when applicable.
- Work with engineering and customers through the submittal and release process.
- Work with engineering, quotations, sales, and customers to manage change orders.
- Interface with Supply Chain to ensure material availability.
- Use system generated reports or develop effective reports that track order status and flag potential issues with orders.
- Proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve possible issues with orders that may cause delays or other customer complaints.
- Perform other duties, which may be required by supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience (ex. project management, project estimation, inside sales, sales engineering, technical sales, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer , driven to engage issues all the way through resolution, collaborating effectively with any resources required.
- Technically oriented with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
DESIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Warehouse Senior Associate at DSG:
- Accurately pulls material from location to fill each order.
- Pack, label, and place filled orders in proper location for delivery.
- Regular operation of warehouse equipment (forklift, picker, turret, etc., training/certification provided).
- Ensures a clean, safe working environment: sweeps and mops floors, cleans and dusts shelves, sorts and dumps trash in appropriate bins.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Uses computer and/or RF gun to check on status, availability, and location of product.
- Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Notifies Branch Manager about shortages or overages in inventory.
- Works with fellow warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Loads delivery trucks as needed.
- Handles calls for warehouse when needed.
- Assists in Receiving as workload permits.
- Performs one or more skilled tasks such as:
- Wire measuring/cutting machine - cuts proper wire to proper length, marks tags with new wire amounts and fills racks when needed,
- Pipe machine operation - cuts pipe to proper length and depth,
- Delivery driving responsibilities - Inspect trucks before delivery to ensure that they are in good working order and will pass road inspection, such as checking tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, etc.; report any vehicle problems and/or set appointments to get problems fixed.
- Inventory Control – responsible for daily cycle counting process, processes returns of defective product and special order returns
- Sheet Metal fabrication – make custom sheet metal fittings/ductwork (measure and mark dimensions, fasten joints and seams via solder, welds, caulk, bolts, and metal driver clips), may include fabricating ducts, flashings, plenums, returns, transitions, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
A Successful Warehouse Associate Typically Has:
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Advanced product and warehouse knowledge that would normally be acquired in five or more years of applicable experience.
- Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects across engineering disciplines, with a primary focus on electrical systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Project Management:** Oversee capital projects from **concept to completion** **, ensuring** **safety, budget control, scheduling, and technical performance** **.**
- **Capital Investment Proposals:** Develop and present business cases following **Sylvamo's project delivery process** **.**
- **Design & Engineering:** Manage detailed design and construction, including **PFDs, P&IDs, loop sheets, E/I diagrams, and control systems** **.**
