**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Evaluate, diagnose, repair, and commission electric actuators both onsite and at service centers, ensuring compliance with technical standards and quality requirements.
+ Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to support effective troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
+ Deliver experienced technical support to customers and internal teams for the installation, operation, and maintenance of actuator systems.
+ Serve as a liaison between Lifecycle Services, Engineering, Production, and Operations to identify and resolve systemic issues and give to ongoing product improvement.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and system performance testing, while maintaining accurate service reports and documentation in accordance with company standards.
+ Identify training needs within the department, assist in developing work procedures, and help define scopes of work to support operational efficiency.
+ Partner with commercial teams to identify service and product sales opportunities, including front-end engineering support such as reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
+ Handle travel, expenses, and scheduling with flexibility to support after-hours work and travel to domestic and international customer sites as required.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
+ Minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical support, service engineering, or equipment repair-ideally in actuator or motion control systems
+ Validated hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, motors, and controllers
+ Knowledge of field networking protocols to support across different types of media including Modbus, Profibus, HART, DeviceNet, and remote monitoring of field assets using serial, ethernet or other communication devices.
+ Skilled in interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, with strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service abilities.
+ Ability to travel to customer sites (domestic/international as needed)

Job Overview
The Engineer I maintains the physical structure and equipment of the store, ensuring they remain in good working order. Job Overview
The Maintenance Engineer II maintains the physical structure and equipment of the store, ensuring they remain in good working order. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance as well as emergency, corrective, and routine repairs on electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. - Maintain HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems, along with associated equipment, to maximize efficiency.
- Perform emergency, corrective, and routine repairs on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems according to the established schedule.
- Keep accurate records of all inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as local fire marshal requirements.
- Maintain EPA Universal Certification and stay updated on all relevant legislation, including EPA regulations and South Coast Air Quality District regulations related to “CFC” and refrigerant handling laws.
- Follow shortage control programs and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Plant utilities (boilers, steam distribution, water, compressed air) and prepare monthly utility report
- Develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives
- Assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality
- Technical resource for production personnel on plant utilities
- Assist maintenance employees in their day to day work by giving technical advice
- Provide technical leadership for employees in implementing long term solutions to recurrent problems
- Provide troubleshooting and problem solving as needed
- Review and optimize the predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- Communicate daily with area coordinators
- Assist identifying materials needed for repairs as needed
- Implement improvement projects (scope, cost estimation, request capital money, supervision of fieldwork, commissioning)
- Investigate frequent equipment failures to help identify root cause and implement long-term solutions
- Oversee outside contractors as necessary
- Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of engineering experience in the chemical or food processing industries
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques. ( PM, PDM, CMMS, RCM, TPM )
- Understanding of good engineering and safety practices
- Ability to coordinate, train, and motivate hourly employees and outside contractors
- Good communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to estimate, plan, schedule and complete work orders in a timely fashion
- Ability to manage budget and to estimate costs related to various projects
- Knowledge of capital money management and return on investment
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and to support the maintenance teams
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing (ladder/stairs), temperature changes, and plant field visits
- Occasional lifting (Avg 20 lbs-Max 70 lbs), squatting, operating mobile equipment (Cushman/Pick up truck), and office work
