Maryland Environmental Service (MES) has an opening for an Electrician to Lead Electrician to join the Technical and Environmental Services Group at the BWI Marshall Airport field office. Responsibilities include performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment used for a variety of projects at BWI and Martin State Airports as well as other MES operated facilities throughout the state. This field office is a designated 24/7 emergency essential facility. Therefore, the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during adverse weather conditions will be required.
Estimated Pay Range:
Electrician: $50,233.92 - $9,070.88
Senior Electrician: 55,256.40 - 75,978.12
Lead Electrician: 60,782.49 - 83,575.93

Electricians Needed! Keep our Assembly Line Running at International! *Sign-On Bonus: We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus (less applicable taxes) for newly hired skilled trades positions*
Earn $36.42 per hour + 6% shift differential* & benefits beginning on day one!
+ Troubleshoot & repair electrical systems
+ Ensure smooth plant operation
+ Experience with industrial automation a plus
Must have: Journeyman's license and/or 8+ years experience.

*Shift Differential only available on second and third shift. These are represented positions with excellent benefits including dental, medical and a generous 401k.
Responsibilities
+ Seeking experience troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment
+ Familiarity and adherence with NEC and Chicago Code
+ Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and OSHA Regulations
+ Ability to work with little supervision
+ Good experience running conduit, pulling wires and installing equipment.
+ Journeyman's card and/ or 8 years verifiable experience
+ Ability to work any shift
Minimum Requirements
+ Qualified Journeyman Electrician having successfully completed a government sponsored apprenticeship
OR
+ Equivalent 8 years experience as an Industrial Electrician
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
+ Must be able to work on any shift.
