ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be a hands-on enabler of both prototype and production hardware related to electronic warfare systems. You will support multiple projects by handling assembly, rework, test setup, maintenance, and field readiness activities. This role is essential to keep engineering momentum high, ensuring hardware is built to specification, tested thoroughly, and maintained to perform reliably under operational conditions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support prototype and production assembly work for EW projects, including both electrical and mechanical hardware builds.
- Perform rework and modifications on PCB assemblies: soldering, component replacement, wiring, adjustments.
- Assist engineers with setting up and executing test plans; collect data, document results, and help troubleshoot failures.
- Diagnose and rectify failures in electro-mechanical assemblies under engineering guidance; identify root causes and suggest improvements.
- Maintain lab organization: manage tools, track inventory, upkeep test and assembly equipment.
- Fabricate simple fixtures, jigs, or test harnesses to aid in assembly or testing.
- Carry out cable assembly, crimping, wiring harness fabrication, and installation.
- Perform incoming inspection of components and assemblies to verify quality, conformance, and adherence to specifications.

The Supervisor, Maintenance supervises, teaches, guides, assists and supports co -workers in the Facilities Department.

11. Submit to the Facilities Manager recommendations for painting, repairs and maintenance to the buildings and surrounding grounds. Assist with all types of building maintenance.
12. Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment. Periodically perform inventories supplies and equipment used by Facilities.

Qualifications:

- Primary Proficiency: Electrical and Mechanical systems - For example; various types of conveyors, turntables, palletizers, pallet dispensers, stretch wrapping machines, label printers, trolleys, high bay/low bay cranes, pallet and/or case shuttles, VFD's, Servo Motors, sensors, etc.

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
The Electro-Mechanic Technician (Manufacturing Maintenance Technician) performs project management duties, maintenance and repairs of all pneumatic machines and line equipment.
Position Responsibilities:

Diagnose, plan, & perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, & dismantle various types of complex manufacturing & support equipment with special focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, & PLCs on complex high speed packaging lines

Perform preventive maintenance & other proactive activities to monitor & maintain equipment condition

Troubleshoot and repair of Pneumatic Control Systems, Allen Bradley PLC Systems, RSLinx, Process Control Instrumentation, 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters and controls

Coordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, & other stakeholders to communicate & plan maintenance activities
