Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position
An employee in this position is responsible to lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, missile control instrumentation, electron tubes, test equipment, and machine tool numerical controls, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics.

We are currently seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team, working in the field of HIL simulation for testing electronic control units (ECUs) in diverse industries, including automotive, off-highway, aerospace, and other industrial applications. As part of this team-oriented environment, you will play a crucial role in the development and application of cutting-edge HIL simulation technology, focusing on areas such as e-mobility, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and autonomous driving (AD).
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Assembling and wiring HIL simulators tailored to customers' ECU testing requirements.
+ Reading and interpreting schematics, EPLAN, and other design documentation.
+ Wiring hardware in the loop simulators utilizing various techniques, such as crimping connections, soldering, and screw terminals.
+ Configuring PCB jumper settings or solder bridges according to provided documentation.
+ Assembling Mechanical test benches for steering systems, brake systems, and other applications.
+ Collaborating closely with the Hardware Engineering Team during the build and testing phases, providing valuable feedback to deliver turnkey HIL simulators that exceed customer expectations.
+ Assembling and wiring Lab Vehicles to interface HIL simulators and customer ECUs using aluminum extrusion and other suitable materials.

**Qualifications:**
+ A two-year technical degree or equivalent relevant technician experience.
+ Desired knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
+ Mechanical assembly and wiring of electronic test equipment.
+ Light fabrication of brackets, plates, cut-outs, etc.
+ HIL system or panel wiring.
+ Experience with crimping terminals, such as Hypertronics, AVX (EDAC), ferrules, ring terminals, Deutsch pin, etc.
+ Proficiency in soldering through-hole and surface-mount components.
+ Reading and interpreting EPLAN documents.

Summary
HII, Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineering Technician who has experience working with radar systems. Our ideal applicant will have an understanding of radar systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
This position will be on-site at the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) located in Coolbaugh Township, PA.
What you will be doing

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of radar systems.

Conduct independent build-up and testing of final products.

Execute radar evaluations and repairs at various locations.

Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior team members.

What we are looking for

Position Summary: UAW represented position that serves as a specialist in applied electronics and electrical control systems as related to the support of engineering and production programs including calibrations, test, and measurement equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the design and development of electronic components and systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate electronic instruments, test cell components and systems as required.
- Install, connect and assure proper utilization of instrumentation systems and related devices.
- Conduct special tests and operate specialized equipment for data acquisition, analysis and reporting.
- Fabricates and assembles components and special hardware associated with assigned tasks.
- Troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates.
- Assist in the design and specification of control systems for test cell operation, test fixtures and test equipment including system design, software and sensor selection, panel lay-out and schematic development.
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of directly related electronics experience required.
- Associates degree in Electronics preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of test equipment including data acquisition and instrumentation.
- Demonstrated systems test experience
- Demonstrated laboratory experience
- Introduction/experience to one of the following software/hardware systems is a plus (LabView, Matlab/Simulink, OPTO 22)
- Ability to work well with internal and external customers and Government representatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must be willing to travel (domestic suppliers and vendors).
- Strong Interpersonal skills

**The Opportunity:**
CACI is seeking an Electronics Technician with Data Analysis skill, who applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting U.S. Navy, vendor manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with electronic repair practices, test equipment, tools, processes, and procedures. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher level technician, work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Under limited direction, provides the Depot Repair of site/field equipment, to include troubleshooting, repair, and modification to equipment. Tests, repairs, and adjusts equipment associated with trouble reports at the Depot Repair facility and performs routine maintenance.
+ Serves as member of the depot maintenance team and performs a wide variety of complex activities associated with maintaining and servicing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment.
+ Maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies and tests various types of electrical, electronic and/or mechanical equipment and related devices using various test equipment.
+ Understands and interprets electrical and mechanical drawings. Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles in order to return equipment to operational condition and solve problems.

+ Strong data analysis skills, including collecting, interpreting, and reporting on production and testing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential issues. Experienced in conducting out-of-tolerance impact analyses and contributing to the establishment of necessary test uniformity and test accuracy requirements.
+ Proven track record performing a wide variety of complex activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment.
+ Experience understanding and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings. Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles in order to return equipment to operational condition and solve problems.
+ Experience performing diagnostics, parts replacement, software reloading, testing and repair action reporting for Electro-Optic Systems.
