The Email Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the National Inventors Hall of Fame email and text message campaigns, including strategy, project management, copywriting, execution, and analysis of campaign analytics.
Position Responsibilities:

Manage the National Inventors Hall of Fame email content calendar.

Develop email content, including writing email copy and planning creative assets.

Project manage and execute email/text sends/journeys for multiple areas of the business utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Analyze, evaluate, and report on all data from email and text message campaigns, providing insights to help drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and inform future email campaigns and strategies.

Work closely with the Creative Team and Marketing Copy Team leads to execute email copy, assets, and design.

Collaborate with the Reporting, Events, Fundraising, and Sales departments to ensure we are reaching the appropriate target audience(s).

Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team on campaign planning and ideation, such as identifying KPIs, benchmarks, and targeting tactics.

Act as the go-to resource for email marketing trends, providing updates and reporting on how we can implement updates into our email strategy.

This highly hands-on role is a new position created to support Fabretto’s commitment to dramatically expand and elevate its marketing activities with particular focus on deepening its digital presence across all platforms and to enhance Fabretto’s fundraising reach with sophisticated donors and supporters.
We are looking for a new team member seeking a growth-oriented position who is creative, proactive, and independent, as well as an excellent writer with proven knowledge of and experience with digital marketing. The ideal candidate has excellent English and Spanish language skills, formal education/training, and experience in marketing and digital content development, and is seeking to learn through exposure and day-to-day interaction with the highly professional Fabretto team and its recently added non-profit focused digital marketing agency.
Fabretto is led by a small, dynamic, and geographically dispersed team. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely and highly collaboratively with Fabretto’s senior team in the U.S., Spain and Central America, Central American partner organizations, and our marketing agency. Significant investment is being made in strategic planning and brand development to support our commitment to reaching new donor audiences and building our internal capabilities.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in content creation, digital marketing platforms, social media, analytics, and advertising, preferably with a non-profit or social impact organization, and proven results that can be shared during the hiring process.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Full English proficiency (native English skills desired) with excellent English and Spanish writing skills are required for this role.
- Design skills: proven capabilities with using tools like Canva, Capcut, or Adobe Suite products to create engaging images, advertisements and videos.
- Interest in and knowledge of education programs and Fabretto’s mission, as well as an understanding of the international development and social impact landscape.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (such as Constant Contact and MailChimp).
Primary duties will include:
- Content Creation (60%): The primary focus of this role is to create engaging content for Fabretto’s platforms using inputs from the field and Fabretto’s team. Primary focus on producing high-quality written and visual content in English to engage US-based audiences, along with the ability to translate/generate content in Spanish.
- Coordinating with Field Teams (15%): Coordinating with Fabretto’s field team and our partners’ staff to collect inputs and translate those inputs into content for Fabretto’s channels - including social media, email, blogs, web content, and printed materials.
- Social media management and ads (15%): Work with Fabretto’s Communications Coordinator and outside marketing agency to create social media content and manage Fabretto’s social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to engage our community via social media. This role will also contribute to creating engaging paid ad campaigns for Fabretto, monitor analytics, and adjust content based on results.
- Collaborating on Strategy (10%): Working with our senior team and marketing agency to update our strategy and brand and to implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning from and with this agency and has the skills to work effectively with remote, international team members.
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s background, experience, and location. Please note that this is an independent contractor, professional services position. Fabretto is a registered nonprofit organization in the United States. Fabretto does not provide visa sponsorship or assistance.
