The Leadership and Learning team focuses on growing great leaders and developing the critical skills that support the business. **How will you make an impact in this role?**
+ Oversee our enterprise leadership development program design, delivery and compliance to deliver bespoke, high-impact growth opportunities for leaders across the enterprise (e.g. Leadership @ Amex, Accelerate Leadership Development Program, etc.)
+ Develop select and purposeful enterprise leadership development resources and tools to complement leadership program offerings colleagues in accelerating their development and career growth
+ Reinforce and integrate Leadership Behaviors and Blue Box Values across all leadership development programming efforts across the enterprise
+ Partner with leaders within Colleague Experience Group and business teams to assess, consult, integrate and amplify leadership development best practices across the enterprise
+ Lead external partner relationships and vet new partnerships; work closely with vendor partners to design, deliver and evaluate tools, offerings and programs
+ Measure ongoing effectiveness and impact of tools and programs, drive decision-making based on Return of Investment
+ Conduct ongoing research on external best practices and recommend strategies for continuous improvement. Develop forward looking practices
+ Partner with Risk, Privacy and Compliance teams to ensure strong governance and risk controls in place
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 8 years' experience in HR with extensive experience in Learning and Development
+ Proven track record in designing and developing innovative colleague experience strategies with a focus on leadership and learning solutions
+ Experience in designing and delivering high-quality, end-to-end colleague-centric strategies as a self-starter with outstanding strategic thinking, and a solution-focused mindset
+ Experience and/or strong understanding in range of leadership development strategies as well as their applicability and purpose
+ Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to understand complex problems and root causes, and to make data-driven recommendations
+ Demonstrated ability to gather internal and external insights to understand and identify needs and systematic solutions at scale, intellectual courage and curiosity
+ Strong consulting and relationship building skills across stakeholders, and comfort in influencing decisions and outcomes

**Qualifications**
Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits

**Overview:**

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead end-to-end program management for leadership development programs (e.g., Leadership @ Amex) from planning, contracting, vendor and budget management, learning design, communications and engagement, metrics tracking, and on-site coordination with key partners and leaders
+ Partner with external vendors to design and review the learning curriculum and content for our leadership development programs
+ Provide program consultation and collaborate with our Colleague Strategic Partners (HR Business Partners) and other stakeholders across CEG to promote awareness and engagement with our programs
+ Identify and carry out data analyses, develop insights and make recommendations, to drive continuous improvement of our leadership development programs

**Minimum Qualifications:**

The Learning & Development and Talent Management Specialist is responsible for leading the Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives and driving talent management strategies within the organization. This role will enhance employee effectiveness across all levels and support the overall strategic goals of Natixis in the Americas while also contributing to the organization's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  • Plan, design, and customize L&D programs to align with Natixis strategy in the Americas, enhancing both individual and collective effectiveness at all employee levels.
  • Define and manage the L&D budget to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with business lines and the HRBP team to identify skills and capability gaps, developing targeted learning solutions.
  • Coordinate with global and regional L&D stakeholders to ensure consistency and leverage best practices across the Americas platform.
  • Utilize analytical and innovative thinking to design, develop, and deliver high-quality L&D programs and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and integrate solutions from external vendors, including instructor-led training, technology-driven learning, gamification, and assessments, to create innovative talent development programs.
  • Lead and pilot programs specifically focused on Leadership and Management development.
  • Support and guide team members in leading and piloting L&D initiatives across various domains.
  • Facilitate team building, staff engagement, and employee well-being through creative planning and innovative initiatives.
  • Assist the organization in implementing change management processes and new ways of working.

Talent Management

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development through effective talent management practices.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans.
  • Utilize corporate demographic data and employee feedback to inform talent management strategies and improve program effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects involving HR and external stakeholders to drive talent development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Human Resources.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is essential
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development and Talent Management programs.
  • Proven experience in leading communications initiatives, planning, and logistics for learning programs.
  • Familiarity with Latin American and Canadian offices is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, with a focus on metric/SLA monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
  • Effectivel oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in preparing and maintaining accurate records using relevant software applications.
  • Solid skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.

**What you'll do:**
+ Leads complex, comprehensive Talent Management projects from strategy through implementation, adoption and stabilization.

**What you have:**
+ Bachelor's degree; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree
+ 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level talent program and process development and implementation with a focus on talent development (e.g. coaching, mentoring, rotations, leadership development, talent pipeline planning, learning, skills management)
+ 3+ years of experience leading others either formally in a managerial role, or informally as a project or team lead
+ Advanced knowledge of various talent management technology solutions

+ Proven ability to develop and implement strategic talent management initiatives

**Compensation range:** The salary range for this position is: $143,320.00 - $273,930.00.

This is a full-time position with benefits, reporting to the Senior Vice President for Economic Opportunity. Initial employment will be on a probationary basis, with detailed evaluations and feedback for new employees at the 30-, 60-, and 90-day marks.

Position Summary

The Civic Committee launched the Chicago Business Opportunity Initiative (CBOI) with a vision to make Chicagoland the most economically prosperous and inclusive region in the country. We are primarily focused on economic growth for all in the Chicago region with specific goals of supporting the growth of Chicago based businesses operating in high growth sectors, increasing jobs on Chicagos South and West sides, and creating an ecosystem of organizations working collectively to sustain change over time. We have organized CBOI into two pillars (business growth and business ecosystem) through which we will execute plans. A senior executive Task Force steers CBOIs strategic plan.

The Senior Director, Business Development Programs

The successful candidate will be a strategic and execution leader with demonstrated subject matter expertise in business development and procurement with a proven track record of accelerating growth for under-scaled, underrepresented, and highly capable businesses. This role will lead an assigned portion of CBOI strategy with a focus on accelerating growth and development of businesses operating in Chicago. This role will interface frequently with Civic Committee leadership, the CBOI Task Force and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, complex high-change environment. The successful candidate must have a go-to network of business development resources in areas like access to capital, positioning for private investment, constructing road shows, business continuity planning, global supply chain, strategic alliances and other areas to drive measurable economic growth

Essential Functions

  • Design and lead business development strategic planning and programs to drive measurable increases in the utilization of Chicago based businesses operating in high growth sectors.
  • Identify viable Chicago based businesses operating in high growth sectors to participate in programming. Perform due diligence to ensure alignment with program objectives. Secure commitment from senior business leaders to participate in programming.
  • Design mechanisms for organizations to build relationships with Chicago based businesses operating in high growth sectors/industries. Coordinate introductions, assess performance and drive continuous improvements to strengthen the competitiveness of Chicago based businesses.
  • Share regional business data, insights, and trends.
  • Operate in a fast moving, complex environment with an innovative mindset and a high degree of independence and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with Chicago based organizations to share economic related data, insights, and trends.
  • Define short, medium, and long-term goals for Chicago based business growth. Measure the impact of business growth initiatives and manage progress towards goals.
  • Facilitate meetings, focus groups, and sessions to cultivate understanding and empower collective action. Attend conferences and meetings as requested.
  • Work collaboratively with other organizations including non-profits, universities, governmental and advocacy groups to understand root cause issues impacting Chicagos business ecosystem while working collectively to drive transformative, measurable changes.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires in-depth written reports, updates, and presentations, sometimes with short notice. The successful candidate must submit to a Writing Assessment and respond to frequency of use of writing skills to determine proficiency level.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, colleagues, and businesses to achieve shared goals, resolve challenges, and drive meaningful changes in Chicago.
  • Develop a CBOI performance scorecard that includes key performance indicators, data, and insights. Distribute to Civic Committee leadership monthly and quarterly. Support CBOI data requests as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the Civic Committees business growth and development related programs designed to scale Chicago based businesses operating in high growth sectors.
  • Own the Civic Committees business growth and development related goals and action plans to achieve CBOI objectives. Leverage best practices from supply chain management, private equity, economic development, and regional growth plans.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of various regional approaches to business growth and development, identifying areas for improvement and tracking progress over time. Be the champion of continuous improvement and celebrate wins, big and small.

  • 10+ years of prior, relevant experience leading business development strategy and execution. Proven senior level communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. Proven record of success accelerating growth for under-scaled, underrepresented and highly capable businesses.
  • MBA or comparable professional degree preferred but not required.
