Responsible for various patient care and occupational health and safety services provided in MedPro Group and at employer-site operations.

Essential Job Functions:
• Performs duties of registered nurse of MedPro Group
• Provide clinical health care services to employees for both occupational and personal illnesses and injuries, following established clinical policies, procedures and protocols of MedPro Group, consistent with licensure.
• Collaborate, document and communicate with appropriate provider, employer, employee, MedPro management and marketing personnel, and authorized third party representatives concerning the care, medical case management and disability case management of employee illnesses and injuries.
• Promote and participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of programs concerning the health and safety of the employer work place and work force.
• Participate and/or manage, to the fullest extent possible, programs and activities concerning employer compliance with OSHA and other regulations concerning work place health and safety.
• Deliver all services in a manner which promotes MedPro Group and employer-site personnel as professionals dedicated to the cost-effective advancement of the common goals of labor and management - a healthy, safe and productive work force.
• Collaborate with the occupational health services manager, MedPro Group and other service providers in performing and providing the services as determined by the on-site medical services agreement between the employer and MedPro Group.
• Monitor and track injuries and illnesses and help develop and implement strategies to minimize future occurrences as well as the costs of such occurrences to both the employer and employee.
• Provide testing and training services related to regulatory compliance including but not limited to CPR, first aid, blood borne pathogens, hearing conservation, respiratory protection, ergonomics and substance abuse.

Basic Requirement for Nurse (Occupational Health):

This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and you must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
Foreign Degree: Graduates of foreign nursing schools must have completed the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools Certification Program. The certification program consists of a credentials evaluation, the CGFNS Qualifying Exam, and evidence of passing one of the approved English Language Proficiency examinations. A copy of the CGFNS Certificate is required.
Exemption: You are exempt from the basic requirements above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0610 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Currently we are seeking full-time, BC/BE Occupational Medicine physicians to join our teams in the following locations:
- Folsom (part-time)
- Fresno
- Manteca
- Richmond
- South Sacramento (part-time)
- Vacaville
- Vallejo
Full-time annual salary range is $317,520 to $27,000 plus additional potential incentives of 22,460*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Additional incentive opportunities are available based on geographic location, experience and include potential premium pay.
Per Diem opportunities available at:
- Vacaville
Per Diem salary range is 155 to 160 per hour.
