DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with departmental leaders to right size labor force through use of various recruiting efforts.
- Supports new hire orientation, employee engagement initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to manage day-to-day HR operations such as, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Manages employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Work with leadership to ensure consistency in administering corrective action.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum BA or BS degree OR Minimum (4) years work experience in Human Resources (required)
Human Resources Certification (required)
Demonstrated proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Strong understanding of HR business principles and processes
Strong interpersonal relationship and team building skills

The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support in key areas of human resources, including employee relations, claims management, and unemployment handling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and excellent customer service skills. Essential Functions:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for managing, tracking and reporting workers' compensation claims until resolution of our third-party administrators.

**Position Purpose:**
