6. Address input and concerns from staff, funding sources, persons served, families, and employers. Inform managers

7. Ensure quality service delivery, documentation and processing of these documents for assigned office locations.
8. Collaborate with hiring manager regarding information pertinent to the development of training plans for new

Job Opportunity – Human Resources Manager – Washington-Centerville Public Library – Centerville, OH

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer performance management processes, including annual and end-of-probationary reviews.
- Develop and evaluate job and task descriptions, ensuring cross-department consistency and compliance.
- Oversee recruitment activities, including obtaining qualified candidates, interviewing, and maintaining records.
- Coordinate employee relations issues, including coaching and counseling as needed.
- Ensure organizational compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and BWC.
- Maintain personnel, medical, and training files, and oversee the library compensation program.
- Research, coordinate, and administer annual salary and benefits packages.
- Train, supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel in areas of responsibility.
- Act as an outside vendor liaison in areas of responsibility, including purchasing, contract maintenance, and invoice approval.
- Develop and present communications to staff and external stakeholders.
- Plan, develop, and conduct training for staff, including design of materials.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five to seven years of experience in human resources.
- Excellent MS Office software skills.
- Knowledge in all aspects of employment law, including collective bargaining.
- Fact-based, analytical decision maker.
- Collaborative, hands-on style with exceptional follow-through and a sense of humor.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and written/verbal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a broad range of tasks and planning duties.
