Job Description
The Consultant III position is part of the Benefits Configuration Team who works to support cyclical and ongoing medical coding changes which affect claims processed in the Epic/Tapestry platform for the CA Market. This position will work independently and as part of a team to leverage analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze requirements, build configuration changes, and support the implementation of changes to the Tapestry Claims System. The Consultant III will also collaborate across teams within Benefits Administration to support this work and end to end solutioning.
Job Summary:

This position is within the ICE Propulsion and Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) organization and is for a Component Design/Release Engineer (CPMT Leader). The specific sub-systems of responsibility would be within the Base Engine Structure and would be defined at the point of employment, based upon the successful candidate's skill set. Candidate should have significant experience with aluminum castings, including sand cast and high pressure die cast components. Examples are cylinder block, cylinder head, oil filter adapters, oil pans, and cam covers.
**What you'll do.**
+ Design & Release new and existing components/sub-systems.
+ Lead sub-system CPMT activities.
+ Lead WERS (Worldwide Engineering Release System); alerts, concerns and notice processing.
+ Lead/Support resolution of major design, manufacturing, program, and launch issues.
+ Create, complete, approve DVPs and oversee testing in support of robust validation.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in electric powertrains or power electronics.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive engineering, with at least 5 years focused on electric vehicle technologies.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex R&D projects.
- In-depth knowledge of EV components such as batteries, electric motors, power electronics, and charging systems.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, SAE).
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS) and data acquisition systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle integration and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
