**Job overview and responsibilities**
Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location ensuring these activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance with schedule requirements and in compliance with all established company, regulatory and manufacturers procedures. Leads and assign work team and related personnel to meet company and customer requirements, goals, and objectives. Adheres to all applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensures their team has the appropriate resources available and holds them accountable for the work assigned/performed.
+ Provide leadership and direction to on shift labor workforce to maximize productivity and output whilst ensuring necessary resources are available
+ Build / reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies
+ Execute station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals
+ Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, safety and human resource related performance objectives
+ Implement and sustainment of continuous improvement activities and oversee safety and security of work group operations to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities
+ Maintain a high level of communication with employee groups within the work group Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership whilst providing direction to assigned personnel to ensure shop and divisional objectives are achieved

The base pay range for this role is $124,344.05 to $151,976.06.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

Summary/Objective
The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
Pay Rate: $23 an hour
Essential Functions
- Ensure Company-provided vehicle is continuously stocked with needed parts/tools for completing work.
- Provides assistance as needed for repairs or replacement of building rotating mechanical equipment.
- Perform minor repairs on building structures and furnishings such as ceilings, toles, wallboard, plastered walls, cabinets, bookcases, resilient floor tiles, carpeting, lighting systems, painted surfaces, internal and external doors and door hardware, ceramic tile walls and floors, wall mounted fixtures and dispensers, and other similar equipment.

- Must be detail oriented.

Supervisory Responsibility

Work Environment

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 5 years Preventative Maintenance experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
2 years of direct automotive repair experience.
Computer Operations
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Use miscellaneous office equipment (e.g., calculators, typewriters, computers, FAX machines, copiers, etc.).
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card).
Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license.
