**Job Description:**
At Regions, the Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the dependability of our firm's most critical system applications. This role will be called upon to solve major issues, understand and remediate the points of system failure, as well as work with internal teams to optimize system applications' reliability, performance, and capacity.

# Project Overview:
Project Field Engineers are needed to support early project execution planning and development and transition to site during EPC execution.
Bechtel has several current and prospective projects in early development planning phases which may result in Pre-FEED, FEED, for Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), Construction Management (CM), or Project Management Contract (PMC) execution contract awards. Candidates will be hired initially to work in Houston, Texas on a business trip or short-term assignment and eventually deploy to a long-term assignment at one of our project sites. Project sites can be in multiple locations throughout the US depending on Global Business Unit (GBU) need.

# Major Responsibilities:
+ Develops and recommends the construction engineering organization for approval by the Site Manager (or appropriate level of Project Management) and prepares employee requisitions.
+ Establishes a Design/Field Engineering working relationship and lines of communication with the Project Engineer including agreement on engineering deliverables. Responsible for quantity take-off, control, reporting and forecasting.
+ Develops and implements the quality management plan as it relates to jobsite quality management, quality control, and the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
+ Develops and ensures the implementation of the project construction procedures from the Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs).
+ Coordinates and monitors the interfacing between the construction automation plan and the project controls program at the jobsite.
+ Directs preparation of cost estimates for construction activities and coordinates the preparation of cost reports, forecast and progress reports. Reviews and provides input to project controls documents on progress relating to cost and schedule.
+ Coordinates with the superintendents and subcontractors to plan construction schedules, and subcontract activities to ensure materials, equipment, and quality comply with design plans and specifications.
+ Directs the preparation of requisitions for field procured materials, material substitution, services and equipment. Approves requisitions as delegated by the Field Construction Manager. Reviews material receiving reports and warehousing to assure delivery of correct materials.
+ Plans and recommends procedures to be implemented by superintendents to ensure construction operations are within requirements of engineering design and specifications.
+ Implements controls over variables affecting job progress to ensure engineering and procurement provide timely delivery of drawings, materials, and equipment and to ensure that other corporate programs are fully utilized.
+ Administers assigned subcontracts to ensure completeness and that they are up to date, and major subcontract changes and represents the company in major contractual discussions and negotiations.
+ Ensures that subordinate personnel receive progressive training. Assesses needs and develops Field Engineering Training Plan for the project.
+ Reviews and provides input to the project staffing plan for construction engineers and associated personnel. Ensures the implementation of project environmental control plan(s) as required.

In the role of Site Installation Engineer (SIE) for Medium Gas Turbines New Unit, you will work at a customer job site(s) primarily in the US or Canada but also globally when needed.
The Site Installation Engineer typically works in teams of two at the customer job site and leads the customer team by planning all installation activities related to the Gas Turbine scope of equipment. This means, among other things, directing job site logistics, plan the daily work, utilize technical drawings, participate in daily/weekly customer meetings, workforce planning and EHS governance for Siemens Energy related equipment. The Site Installation Engineer frequently interacts with the Siemens Energy project team in Sweden on progress reporting, technical support, and other relevant activities.
This role requires a dedicated training program to become a certified Siemens Energy SIE. Training is conducted partly in the US and in Sweden.

**What You Bring**

+ Open to travel both in the US/Canada region but also globally and work for 10-12 weeks at a time (occasionally longer). Typically, the role is on active assignments about 250 days per year.

Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices.

Responsible for the organization and direction of construction engineering personnel and activities relating to construction engineering, subcontracts, and engineering liaison to the design functional group. Interprets design drawings and specifications. Supervises field verification of materials and installations. Provides technical direction to construction engineers and contractors in a wide range of construction engineering and design functions relating to multi-discipline engineering in an area or to a single discipline on the overall project. **Responsibilities**
+ Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress and reporting.
+ Communicate with and review trade contractor work (as per the project schedule) and may provide day-to-day direction.
+ Maintains contact with select subcontractors and is responsible for some subcontract administration, including defining work scope, answering inquiries, and monitoring progress.

**Qualifications**
