# Project Overview:
Project Field Engineers are needed to support early project execution planning and development and transition to site during EPC execution.
Bechtel has several current and prospective projects in early development planning phases which may result in Pre-FEED, FEED, for Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), Construction Management (CM), or Project Management Contract (PMC) execution contract awards. Candidates will be hired initially to work in Houston, Texas on a business trip or short-term assignment and eventually deploy to a long-term assignment at one of our project sites. # Major Responsibilities:
+ Develops and recommends the construction engineering organization for approval by the Site Manager (or appropriate level of Project Management) and prepares employee requisitions.
+ Establishes a Design/Field Engineering working relationship and lines of communication with the Project Engineer including agreement on engineering deliverables. Responsible for quantity take-off, control, reporting and forecasting.
+ Develops and implements the quality management plan as it relates to jobsite quality management, quality control, and the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).

# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ University/B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or Construction Management.
+ 10 years minimum actual work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the technical knowledge.

In the role of Site Installation Engineer (SIE) for Medium Gas Turbines New Unit, you will work at a customer job site(s) primarily in the US or Canada but also globally when needed.
The Site Installation Engineer typically works in teams of two at the customer job site and leads the customer team by planning all installation activities related to the Gas Turbine scope of equipment. This means, among other things, directing job site logistics, plan the daily work, utilize technical drawings, participate in daily/weekly customer meetings, workforce planning and EHS governance for Siemens Energy related equipment. Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices.

Responsible for the organization and direction of construction engineering personnel and activities relating to construction engineering, subcontracts, and engineering liaison to the design functional group. + Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress and reporting.

**Qualifications**

+ Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, project health, safety, and environment (HSE), quality, building materials, and required standards as per discipline.
+ Must have experience with, and proficient understanding of, construction documentation, including Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
