**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking an experienced **Force Account Manager** to perform construction engineering and inspections on a variety of construction projects including railroad, bridge and highway in Connecticut. Come join our team on these exciting projects!
Responsibilities are included but not limited to:
+ Provides document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.
+ Manages the set up and maintenance of document control / records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.
+ Ensures that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.
+ Applies sound professional judgment and independent thought on details of work.
+ Resolves questions and problems related to document management and project controls.
+ Develops and implements standardized processes for document control across multiple projects to improve efficiency and consistency.
+ Collaborates with Project Managers to establish project-specific document control requirements and ensures their implementation.
+ Conducts regular audits of document control systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
+ Provides training and guidance to team members on document control procedures and best practices.
+ Manages the archiving and retention of project documents in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
+ Coordinates with IT department to maintain and improve electronic document management systems.
+ Prepares regular reports on document control activities and project status for management review.
+ Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding document control and project records.
**Qualifications**

  • Responsible for overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work throughout the discipline.
  • Develop, execute, and lead discipline marketing and business development strategies in collaboration with the marketing and business development teams.
  • Evaluate and monitor proposal development and contract execution.
  • Evaluate and monitor budgets, billing, and collections.

  • Provide staff with technical assistance and supervision in the preparation of proposals and contracts for assigned projects.
  • Responsible in preparing pertinent information for client/agency meetings and attend, as needed.
  • Develop the skills and abilities of staff which are necessary for successful execution of work duties.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach staff.
  • Manage the performance of assigned staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide input for salary/bonus discussions.
  • Collaborate with other firms in pursuit of opportunities and manage subconsultant contracts.
  • Manage material testing and training requirements to ensure compliance with company policies and FDOT prequalification.
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or civil engineering is desired.
  • 10+ years of construction engineering/inspection experience with FDOT is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience with preparing proposals, developing and tracking budgets, and the associated financial management skills necessary to run a team and monitor the performance of the business.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly desired.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

OVERVIEW:  

As a Principal Industrial Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Ninja brand through strategic, innovative, and emotionally resonant product design. You will lead high-impact initiatives across the entire product development lifecycle — from early concept generation and consumer insight translation to final implementation for tooling and production. You will set a creative vision, drive best-in-class user-centered design practices, and provide strategic design leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will serve as a mentor and thought leader, helping elevate design quality across the organization and influence product roadmaps at the highest levels.  

Ninja Design is a passionate team of Industrial Designers, UI Designers, and CMF Designers developing iconic and category-defining products for the Ninja brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Lead the industrial design vision across key programs, ensuring seamless integration of form, function, and brand identity.  
  • Own and drive the end-to-end design process — from foundational research, design strategy, and concept development through to production implementation.  
  • Translate consumer insights into strategic design direction that influences both near-term solutions and long-term innovation pipelines.  
  • Generate high-fidelity visual assets including sketches, renderings, and presentation decks that communicate advanced concepts and inspire cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.  
  • Champion a user-centered design approach while balancing technical, business, and operational constraints.  
  • Mentor and elevate the broader design team, providing strategic feedback, design critiques, and professional growth opportunities.  
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to align product vision with business goals.  
  • Lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions, cross-functional workshops, and executive design reviews.  
  • Advocate for and uphold design excellence throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards are met at every stage.  
  • Influence the materials strategy, CMF decisions, and production approaches in partnership with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.  
  • Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior shifts to inform design innovation and strategic direction.

  • Establish and maintain internal design systems, best practices, and operational tools that promote design consistency and efficiency.  

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial design or a related field; master's degree preferred.  
  • 7+ years of experience in Industrial Design, with a strong track record of leading consumer product development, preferably in small appliances, consumer electronics, or medical devices.  
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring junior designers and managing complex design programs.  
  • Expert-level 2D skills (sketching, Illustrator, Photoshop) and advanced 3D capabilities (SolidWorks or Rhino).  
  • Proficient in 3D rendering tools (KeyShot or equivalent) with an exceptional eye for form, CMF, and visual storytelling.  
  • Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and an ability to work effectively with Engineering to deliver production-ready designs.  
  • Experience bringing multiple high-impact products from concept to market.  
  • High degree of autonomy and ability to manage multiple programs with minimal direction.  
  • Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills; adept at influencing cross-functional stakeholders.  
  • Strong strategic thinking, systems-level design approach, and the ability to connect design to broader brand and business goals.

This role will focus on team management and embedded electronic design and product development for our ambitious product roadmap of vacuum & cleaning products. The successful candidate will have experience in analog and digital embedded design, including both hardware (schematic capture and PCB layout) and firmware (C and ASM), preferably in consumer products or similar. This team member will participate in ideas on how to best use electronics to comply with marketing and engineering requirements and support overall development from conceptualization to implementation of new products. This engineer will be directly involved in the design and building of prototypes that will drive new products to expand and improve our costumer experience with Shark brand products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design analog and digital circuits including low noise analog circuits, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, communication interfaces, linear and switched-mode power supplies.
Perform design, debugging, and board bring-up of analog and digital real-time embedded electronics for microprocess-based control and communication hardware platform using combination of simulation, analysis, prototyping and testing.

Contribute to project work directly through architecture, schematics and software design while supporting DVT, DQTP, EMC and compliance testing.

Design and development of consumer product electronics from initial concept to on-going product support within our global development organization.
Support fielded products and perform analysis of field-reported issues

Functional Skills & Knowledge:

 Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently and in a team demonstrating initiative with minimal guidance
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skill

Education & Experience:

BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years related experience, or advanced degree and 3+ years related experience Previous industry experience working for a consumer products company or a consultant company in the consumer goods space is highly desirable.
Experience in all aspects of electrical design: component selection, system architecture, documentation, test and debugging
