Primary Responsibility : Manage the daily maintenance activities in a warehouse. Plan and coordinate activities of refrigeration, maintenance and forklift associates. Maintain safe, effective and functional facilities by directing installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems for refrigerated warehouse. What You'll Do : • Identifies current and future maintenance requirements. • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual maintenance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. • Ensures operations productivity by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. • Designs, implements, and modifies preventive maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics; inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational standards. • Complies with all OSHA regulations and PSM requirements. • Ensures compliance with mechanical, electrical and all other municipal and state codes. • Resolves maintenance problems. • Protects employees and visitors by maintaining a safe and clean working environment. • Completes maintenance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees. Ensures work results. • Ensures repairs of handling equipment so it is clean, safe, fully-operational and in good repair. • Assess future repair needs of equipment and coordinates repairs. • Direct department activities to design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. • Provide a comprehensive energy plan, which includes: Energy consumption, defined rate goals, strategies, action plans, conservation plans and utilization effectiveness. • Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies, which may improve operations, and develops recommendations accordingly. • Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner. • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local environment, health, safety and HR regulations/procedures along with ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a safe and healthful manner with no adverse impact upon the environment. • Works with General Manager to develop annual budgets • Works with General Manager to ensure Departmental financial goals are met. • Works with General Manager to Develop Capital Expense budgets and provide long term planning for facility and equipment improvements. • Perform other duties as assigned. **Primary purpose of the position:**
Manages the plant engineering function as directed.
**Essential Responsible Areas:**
+ Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. This includes correcting unsafe acts/conditions, facilitating monthly safety meetings, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents, as required.
+ Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the food safety system.
+ Directs and coordinates the activities of the plant engineering function in the plant and its interface with the group office.
+ Establishes and monitors the plant tooling control and change control systems while adhering to designs, specifications, and standards established by the engineering group. Estimates and prepares budgets and AFEs for plant projects.
+ Directs constant communication with group engineering to ensure that any new developments affecting plant engineering are quickly and accurately transmitted and that any approved or standardized methods are established.
+ Establishes a program that will ensure control of M & R and tooling inventories.
+ Directs information to the plant manager, department heads, group manufacturing engineer, and group engineering with the appropriate reports in all areas of plant engineering in order to ensure the efficient and consistent operation of the department within the plant and the group.
+ Directs necessary level of contact with state and local agencies so that plant management is aware of any/all developing problems or changes occurring within area of responsibility.
+ Directs and manages projects related to equipment and building modification and/or repair.
+ Assists plant environmental manager to ensure that the plant maintains compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements.
+ Monitors utility costs and institutes methods for conservation.
+ Ensures the facility is properly maintained for safety and housekeeping.
+ Maintains positive relations with local bargaining unit ensuring a high level of productivity, if applicable.
+ May look at ways to improve spoilage in all areas (ODMs, cans, utilities).
+ May establish and maintain an effective telecommunications environment comprised of all plant telephones, wiring, computerized business exchange equipment, plan paging systems and hardware.
+ May prepare bid packages, negotiate contracts, and supervise contractor/vendor work at the facility.
+ Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.

About the Role - General Maintenance Mechanic
The General Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for general shift coverage including guest requests and overall hotel maintenance requests. The General Maintenance Mechanic must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance including guest rooms, meeting space, public areas, and back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems. The ideal candidateshould have a strong background in mechanical HVAC and will be responsible for maintaining all HVAC equipment with the support of others on the Engineering team, in addition to fulfilling all other general engineering maintenance responsibilities.
Basic Job Duties and Expectations:

Strategic Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and golf course maintenance support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment across all maintenance disciplines.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise the work of the maintenance teams, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks for both the resort and the golf club.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in maintenance management, with experience in both hospitality/resort and golf course maintenance operations strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in managing and leading diverse maintenance teams, including those with golf course-specific expertise.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, life safety) and golf course infrastructure (irrigation, drainage, pumps).
- Familiarity with golf course maintenance equipment and practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets effectively for multiple operational areas.
