**The Opportunity:**
CACI is responsible for providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). These services cover a range of support categories including management, engineering, maintenance, supply, data, training, continuous support, infrastructure, logistics, and personnel. The primary objective of these diverse services is to ensure warfighting readiness across the globe by increasing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of all currently deployed and future TIGS SoS.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as the engineering project lead in Colorado Springs,leveragingtechnical experience working with complex DoD systems to enhance Integrated Product Support (IPS) engineering activities and ensure project outcomes (e.g. technical cost/schedule/performance).
+ Communicateswith program management, lead systems engineer, and cross-functionalengineering teams to develop, execute,maintain, and continuously improve comprehensive project plans.
+ Works effectively with lead systems engineer and cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project objectives; fosters a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficient problem-solving while ensuring all technical requirements and project specifications are met.
+ Addresses and troubleshoots technical issues and problems that arise during the project lifecycle; provides solutions and guidance to the engineering team to overcome challenges and keep the project on track.
+ Demonstrates a deep understanding of the engineering principles relevant to the project; applies advanced engineering knowledge to inform decision-making and drive project success.
+ May supervise other engineers located in Colorado Springs
**Qualifications:**

+ Must hold an active TS clearance (with SCI preferred). Ability to obtain SCI required
+ BSEngineering Degree from an accredited university
+ Minimum of 7 years of related work experienceworking with or leading cross-functional engineering teams, preferably using Agile/Scrum/Kanban execution methodologies within a DoD project context
+ Familiarity with the operation, integration, testing, maintenance, or sustainment of the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS) or similarly complex DoD systems.

+ Act as the primary client interface, from initial assessment and qualification of project opportunities to handling all correspondence, inquiries, and submittals. This includes conducting site walkthroughs to define scope and revisions and assisting with or generating proposals.
+ Experienced with major test equipment software. Capable of initial review of P&C (Protection & Control) drawings to identify mistakes and scope issues and serve as a primary contact for technical questions on designs, applications, or testing.
+ Material coordination, crew coordination (P&C and construction), and providing P&C crew oversight and support. This also involves coordinating with operations on high-profile jobs with potential risk and understanding/applying specific outage restrictions.
+ Ensure project success through meticulous planning and compliance, which involves reviewing and briefing stakeholders on all project specifications, instructions, and contractual requirements, as well as organizing bids.
+ Drive project execution and resource coordination by maintaining and overseeing schedules, collaborating with the Operations Team to secure necessary equipment and labor, and assisting with onsite work and material procurement as needed.
+ Participate in regular Production/Client Meetings to ensure alignment and address ongoing project needs.
+ Build productive relationships with customers, serving as a contact for questions and concerns. Act as an advocate for client operations and the organization as a whole.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET university or Associates/ AET degree, degree with an emphasis on power systems preferred.
+ 5+ years' experience in relay testing and commissioning in substations OR experience designing protection & control schemes.
+ EIT, PE is preferred but not required.
+ Experience in reading and interpreting One Line, AC & DC Elementary and Wiring diagrams
+ Proficient computer, computer network, and Android/iPhone app skills: Microsoft Office suite of software, mapping drive letters for server connections, obtaining, installing, and connecting handheld device apps to 'The Cloud' or other locations as required.
