Responsibilities

* Test Execution & Automation - Execute functional, integration, regression, Performance, and exploratory testing across multiple test environments (Dev, QA, Stage, UAT). - Utilize relevant test platforms, such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and HP Quality Center, for managing test cases, defect tracking, and traceability. - Prioritize and automate high-value test cases, working with CI/CD pipelines where appropriate.
* Database Testing: Perform backend testing using SQL and Oracle to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems. Write and execute complex queries to verify business logic, data transformations, and stored procedures. Validate data migration and ensure referential integrity across environments.
* Defect Management - Identify, log, track, and retest defects found during all phases of testing. - Prepare and distribute test summary reports, including defect logs and closure status.
* Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Partner with product owners, business analysts, developers, and release managers, ensuring clear user story and acceptance criteria definition. - Participate in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives—offering feedback and suggesting quality improvements. - Support root cause analysis and postmortem for defects found in production environments.

Qualifications
* 3+ years proven experience in software QA, including hands-on experience developing and executing UAT cycles and working with various test platforms.
* Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP Quality Center).
* Proficiency in SQL for validating data
* Experience in Automation tools –Selenium, Test Sigma, Test Rigor, TestIM, QTP, Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, Load Runner
* Comfortable writing clear, traceable test cases, mapping them to user stories, and updating them throughout the project lifecycle.

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Engineering and Quality Assurance manager to join our team. In this position, the incumbent will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, managing, and
monitoring the Product Design Engineering and Quality Assurance functions. This position is responsible for overseeing various engineering and quality projects, processes, budgets, timelines, accreditation audits, and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion of goals. This position leads a team comprised of an Engineering Supervisor, a QA Supervisor, engineers, technicians, and quality professionals.
BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the Product Design Engineering and Quality Assurance leader and technical expert.
- Lead the Engineering, Quality Team Members, and other departments through proactive facilitation, mediation, and resourcefulness.
- Create/maintain detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for Engineering and Quality staff.
- Manage oversite of the ISO Quality Management System.
- Support the daily review of production quality performance.
- Monitor scrap, and improve the development of scrap reduction plans.
- Build and review BOMs and product costing.
- Validate and verify accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by Engineering and Quality team members. Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects.
- Coordinate review of customer returns and non-conforming material for root cause analysis and
corrective actions.
- Monitor and determine various Team Member training needs and provide development opportunities.
- Support various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes.
- Communicate and collaborate with other leaders, departments, suppliers, and contractors.
- Prepare and deliver various engineering-related and quality assurance-related presentations, both internally and externally.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Master’s degree in engineering management, business administration, or other related field is preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in engineering and quality management roles, preferably in the heavy manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AWWA, UL, FM, MSS, NSF…), preferred.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and materials science.
- Leadership and people skills are necessary to manage and develop a team.
- Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and teams on track.
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
- Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Job Description
You will be the Quality Engineer for the team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of programs and products.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for performing the roles of Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) and Program Quality Engineer (PQE) at roughly a 50/50 level of support. You will ensure the program meets all relevant quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements, as well as identifying and mitigating any quality risks that may potentially impact the program.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Serve as the primary QA liaison between the program and production work centers, working closely with work center QEs and MEs to ensure all hardware conforms to customer and LM requirements prior to delivery
+ Identify, analyze, and communicate production performance trends and issues using system data tools and metrics
+ Independently assess program QA risk and provide/support recommended mitigations for risk reduction
+ Schedule and perform Quality Assessments in coordination with work centers, cross-functional IPTs, and DCMA
+ Serve as the primary QA representative to program cross-functional IPTs and working groups
+ Support configuration management tasks to include requirement review and changes
+ Facilitate the program Yield Improvement Teams (YIT) in Orlando and Ocala
+ Proactively utilize lean and six sigma principles and methods to identify and drive continuous improvement efforts across the program and S&GS LOB
+ Support product delivery efforts to include the DD250 process and CoCs
+ Drive RC/CA/PA for program product and process nonconformances and issues (Qnotes, VQDs, GCARs, escapes, FRBs)
+ Understand and support Corrective Action Board protocols and work products to ensure actions are implemented and effective

The Supervisor, Performance Engineering & Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and administration of plant performance monitoring and testing programs, providing technical and administrative leadership for major maintenance projects and plant engineering services across the system. Manage the safe execution and continuous improvement of Dairyland Power Cooperative's Quality Assurance (QA) programs. Ensure QA and performance engineering programs are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety in the engineering, construction, and maintenance of generation and transmission facilities.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
1. Coordinate initiatives to enhance the economical and reliable performance of power production equipment and systems. Develop and implement programs focused on improving plant performance, with an emphasis on heat rate training, awareness, and maximizing generating station reliability and availability.
2. Manage activities related to the creation and upkeep of a plant performance database. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data used for internal reporting and submissions to external agencies (e.g., GADS, DOE).
3. Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytical software programs to track, evaluate, and report on plant performance, transmission equipment, and equipment maintenance or design issues.
4. Oversee the planning, development, and execution of engineered capital projects and specialized maintenance initiatives aimed at improving plant and transmission equipment reliability. Supervise in-house staff, external consultants, and suppliers as needed. Conduct engineering studies, prepare cost estimates, and prepare department budget planning.
5. Develop and manage predictive maintenance programs leveraging techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and more. Provide expertise in established programs related to welding, R-stamp certification, non-destructive evaluation (NDE), and boiler tube failure (BTF) prevention.
6. Ensure the department delivers technical support and guidance to power plant and transmission operations teams regarding quality assurance activities and program effectiveness
7. Responsible for the development and execution of routine inspections, specialized audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to established programs, standards, and procedures.

**Your Experience and Expertise:**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **:**
**Education & Experience** : B.S. Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences, preferably mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or a closely related engineering discipline with a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in power plant operation, transmission or substation engineering, utility maintenance and/or performance related activities. Professional Engineering license preferred.
