Meet The Team:

The Simulation organization builds and delivers a software ecosystem and infrastructure to run millions of simulations at scale to ensure that Torcs AV system handles complex driving situations safely and efficiency. We are looking for a seasoned leader that will bring new ideas, optimizations, and best practices for building and operating this complex ecosystem of partner tools and in-house applications. As a director, you will work closely with managers and engineers to improve the capabilities and performance of the simulation platforms that support the development of high-quality safety-critical software.

What Youll Do:

  • Oversee and drive the development, maintenance, and integration of scalable, high-fidelity simulation platforms to support perception, planning and control testing and capability exploration across millions of scenarios.
  • Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness, efficiency and trustworthiness of the simulation platforms to ensure that it delivers measurable value to AV development.
  • Lead and grow multi-disciplinary and high-performing teams of engineers and researchers specializing in sensor simulation, cloud infrastructure, scenario definitions and test evaluation.
  • Drive efforts in sim-to-real transfer and synthetic data generation to improve ML model performance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, integrating third-part tools and platforms where appropriate to enhance internal capabilities and accelerate development.
  • Guide the team to set, track, and achieve goals aligned with the company-wide vision, roadmap, and initiatives.
  • Identify future growth plan to support organizational needs and partner with People Operations and Talent Acquisition to lead organizational development and hiring.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with at least 3-5 years in an engineering management or leadership role.
  • Proven success leading teams that work with cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS, Azure, GCP) and manage complex vendor evaluation and integration.
  • Familiarity with software development and infrastructure at scale, including modern software development practices, distributed systems and cloud computing.
  • Ability to communicate actionable insights using data to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Critical/logical thinking to identify problems and provide solutions to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of managers and professionals and identify opportunities to grow and develop the team.
  • Ability to evangelize best practices and promote consistent standards including test automation, observability, and performance metrics.

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong computer vision foundations and experience in reconstruction techniques who is looking to productionize cutting-edge research into our new neural simulation product. You will develop a first-of-its-class simulation product that will enable the next generation of data-driven autonomous vehicles. Engineer - Simulation Assisted Engineering (SAE) works within the Plant Integration Engineering team by enabling LEAN integrated plant design (IPD) using modern digital engineering tools and techniques. SAE is based on the use of a modern, physics and mathematics, digital engineering modeling and simulation software toolkit. **Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate in cross-functional environment of, Systems, Instrumentation & Controls, and Human Factors Engineering to successful deployment, implementation, and lifecycle stewardship of the multi-organization and multi-geographic SAE environment.
+ Assist in maintaining a singular master plant simulation model in SAE environment while ensuring requirements and configuration management are updated and baselined as necessary.
+ Develop and edit system models in an integrated simulation environment.
+ Develop and run scenarios for single systems, collections of interrelated systems, or entire power plant for: startup, shutdown, and maneuvering throughout all modes of plant operations.
+ Collaborate with simulation software supplier to prepare plans, procedures, and reports then perform factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) for simulator, Discrepancy Reports (DR), enhancement requests, technical oversight issues, and training needs.
+ Collaborate with Engineering Discipline teams to prepare, review, and implement SAE modelling:
+ discipline guides (DG), work instructions (WI), and design practices (DP), documentation templates.
+ check lists to encourage standard work with consistency, completeness, and adequacy as appropriate throughout Conceptual, Preliminary, and Detail Design Phases.
+ processes and techniques to; confirm then verify, test then validate, and integrate Discipline specific models into singular master plant simulation model, and
+ help achieve system functional and performance goals.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Software, Computer Science or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent 4-year technical degree.

**The Opportunity:**
CACI is looking for a **Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Modeling and Simulation Engineering Lead** to work with NASA's human-rated spacecraft systems in support of our Nation's space exploration initiative at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. Candidates should have great interest in spacecraft vehicles and systems, enjoy working with software, and most of all, possess a great passion to contribute to our Nation's exploration of space.
This position involves technical leadership providing oversight and expertise as part of our space vehicle GNC modeling and simulation engineering team. The individual will lead and directly contribute to the development and design for spacecraft simulations and math models across multiple domains with a focus on spacecraft GNC. The individual will develop high-fidelity simulations and math models for NASA space vehicles, and will utilize those models for engineering analysis. This includes integration, verification, and validation for simulations and math models on Linux PC platforms using the Trick© Simulation Environment and Development Toolkit developed by CACI. The ideal candidate has leadership experience and an educational background with spacecraft domain expertise in the following areas: Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC); Environment Modeling (aerodynamics, solar pressure, and thermal); Orbital Dynamics.
The engineer in this role will lead a team of skilled engineers to identify and implement improvements to math models and simulation scenarios, execute engineering analysis, analyze simulation data to evaluate system characteristics and performance, and support continual enhancements to the simulation architecture. Tasks may include but are not limited to developing standalone and integrated simulations, GNC models, and avionics models.

Overview  

The Chief Roadmap and Innovation Officer will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our global product and innovation roadmap — unifying near-term priorities with long-term disruptive thinking. This leader will anticipate market trends, and bring to life innovations that define the future of consumer experience and product technology.  

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, while fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, fast and agile excellence.   Th is role leads a global team ensuring consumer -centric , 5-star product development to include developing a product roadmap, b uilding unstoppable teams, and being a thought leader .    

Here are some of the exciting things you'll be doing:  

Lead Agile Product Development:  

  • Maximize revenue and gross margin for each subcategory to deliver at least 20% growth YoY.  
  • Delivers at least one new product in a new category every year that results in at least $50M in revenue in Year 1.  
  • Ensures the Product Roadmap delivers viral product performance AND viral product aesthetic by driving ID and CMF excitement from mass production through EOL .  
  • Oversee a global team with a “fail fast” approach, emphasizing rapid testing, and iteration as well as an insatiable impatience for action.  
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility to enhance product offerings.  
  • Ensure the right processes and practices are in place to support the agile approach.  
  • Inspire and Empower Teams by l ead ing and manag ing a global team, coaching and developing them to deliver successful client solutions.  
  • Cultivate an environment of innovation, autonomy, and high performance.  

Operational Excellence:  

  • Lead the optimization of end-to-end product development processes, from concept ideation through commercialization.  
  • Continuously assess and refine product development workflows, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency and reduce time-to-market.  
  • Implement robust project management practices to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.  
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and best practices in product development to maintain competitive advantage.  
  • The candidate will be capable to Identify and understand risk and opportunities for improvement through multiple workstreams.  

Cross-Functional Collaboration:  

  • Provide support to the Engineering teams for the design, development and manufacture for products.   
  • Foster strong relationships with key departments including R&D, design, marketing, operations, supply chain, and quality control to ensure product development is aligned with customer needs, quality standards, and manufacturing capabilities.  
  • Act as a bridge between the product development team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines.  

Innovation & Market Insight:  

  • Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior to drive product innovation and maintain the company's competitive edge.  
  • Identify and analyze consumer needs and market opportunities, ensuring the product portfolio aligns with evolving customer preferences.  
  • Build strategic partnerships with vendors, technology providers, and innovation hubs to stay ahead in the industry.  

Financial & Resource Management:  

  • Ensure that the most cost-effective way is sought to achieve the relevant primary functions whilst ensuring quality / reliability   
  • Manage the product development budget, ensuring cost efficiency and high ROI.  
  • Optimize the product development processes, supply chain, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.  
  • Drive P&L ownership of the product portfolio, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.  
  • Manage talent development, and hiring to ensure the team has the required skills and capacity to execute the product strategy.  

Risk Management & Compliance:  

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the product development process, including supply chain disruptions, manufacturing delays, and regulatory challenges.  
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the product lifecycle.  

Performance Tracking & Reporting:  

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product development operations, tracking progress against goals and providing regular updates to executive leadership.  
  • Leverage data analytics to identify areas for process improvement and decision-making.  

Qualifications / Requirements  

The successful candidate will have proven manufacturing / quality leadership experience and the ability to deliver results in larger matrix organizations.  

  • 15+ years of experience in product development within the consumer products industry (e.g., CPG, electronics, home goods, beauty, apparel, etc.).  
  • Proven track record of leading product innovation and successful launches at a large-scale company or high-growth brand.  
  • Strong background in R&D, design thinking, and market-driven product strategies.  
  • Experience managing large teams and complex product portfolios.  
  • Deep knowledge of consumer insights, supply chain, regulatory standards, and sustainability trends.  
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Industrial Design, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

The Product Development organization within SharkNinja drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf through the constant lens of the consumer. We are the “product CEOs” and partner cross-functionally with almost every other team within the company to drive high satisfaction for our end user and to drive business results. Responsibilities:  

  • Support the Shark business  onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products to ensure continued growth of the product portfolio – you will lead new product development (creation and management) of assigned product(s) from brainstorm phase through mass production, as well as partner with leadership to define the over-arching category direction to a team of product developers. You are responsible AND accountable for progressing, reporting on, and actioning your and your team’s deliverables.  
  • Lead, manage, and grow team members within the organization – providing guidance on their assigned projects, ensuring product success, supporting professional advancement within their role and within SharkNinja, and holding them accountable to their specific job responsibilities. You will be viewed as a manager who has proficiency in navigating people, conflict, and resource management.  
  • Define and develop product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, white space in the market, and new/flagship product technologies as the primary consumer advocate.  
  • Develop user-relevant design targets for product performance and user experience – and act as the beacon of these targets to the cross-functional team of engineers, industrial designers, and commercial marketers.  
  • Partner with SharkNinja’s Insights & Intelligence team to develop consumer testing objectives and implement this consumer-driven feedback into product specifications and design iterations throughout the project development cycle.  
  • Partner with SharkNinja’s testing and quality organizations to define, develop and manage quality and performance testing procedures.  
  • Manage product cost structure, reporting, and cost rationalization exercises – and collaborate with supply chain, merchandising, and supply planning teams on product sourcing strategy recommendations.  
  • Provide direction and oversight into the creation and execution of go-to-market collateral to support product launch, including instructional material and consumer-facing product specification information.  
  • Provide direction and oversight into the development of product troubleshooting and “FAQs” to support a 5-star consumer experience post-purchase.  
  • Act as the product and/or category “expert” for cross-functional team member questions and concerns.  
  • Be called upon to take leadership of larger cross-functional “breakthroughs” that increase executive visibility and accelerate career growth.  

Qualifications:  

  • 8+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering or a combination of the above  
  • Prior experience hiring, managing, leading, and goal setting with team members.  
  • A “100% on” consumer-first perspective when it comes to introducing new products/processes or improving current products.  
  • Ability to effectively “manage up” by communicating your top priorities and constantly seeking feedback on your and your team’s work.  
  • A mindset geared toward building relationships across multi-functional teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.  
  • Highly-effective communication skills – both written (presentation/email) and in-person (ability to host succinct, effective conversations that solve problems and ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management, including SharkNinja’s executive leadership team)  
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.  
  • A desire to learn and grow in a passionate environment.  The ability to embrace transparency and shifting priorities while learning from each decision and focusing on the path forward.
