**Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for the overall financial impact of Specialty Engineered projects. Plans, coordinates implementation of Engineering of Specialty Product in Chino Mfg site. Ensures the correct processes and tools are available for implementation
+ Develop processes and responsible for accuracy and improvement. Develop detailed specifications, detailed program plans and work breakdown structure, milestones, major review, schedule, cost, ect. Completes programs on schedule and on budget meeting all technical and customer requirements.
+ Responsible for managing and completing large engineering projects having strategic platform impact. Leads cross functional teams to achieve business goal. Manages and executes projects with general strategic direction from senior leadership. Identify manufacturing cost drivers and implement plan to control.
+ Responsible for presentation and preparation on Specialty product deliverables to cross functional team. Key contributor to business growth as a direct result of Engineering product projects.
+ Responsible for maintaining integrity of our engineering systems. Mentoring continuously and identifying capability gaps for development.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
+ 10+ years experience in technical product development and people management.

The salary or hourly range of $ $8,280 189,000 is just one component of Hussmann's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The Collins Aerospace Global Engineering Center in Puerto Rico is seeking a visionary and experienced technical manager to lead the Engineering Solutions & Analysis team. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, adopting cutting-edge engineering practices, and advancing analytical capabilities within the Advanced Structures business unit. The selected candidate will foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement while promoting ownership and , accountability to build a high-performing team capable of delivering transformative results.
As Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives, pilot projects, and impactful use cases. Join our Global Engineering Solutions leadership team as the Associate Director, Project Technical Lead! The Associate Director will drive the successful execution of large-scale capital projects for our growing Animal Health portfolio! This role will require technical leadership, project management expertise, exemplary communication and collaboration skills with proven regulatory and quality compliance experience.
Reporting to the GES Animal Health Lead in Global Engineering Solutions (GES), the Associate Director will be part of a high performing team accountable for implementation of a major project within our Company's growing portfolio of Animal Health work. The Associate Director will serve as the Technical Lead for a large capital project (>$500MM) and be responsible for leading Suite teams, collaborating with design and construction partners, and driving equipment/process selection, design, startup and commissioning and qualification through all phases of the project.
The Associate Director participates in project activities ranging from business case development through the implementation of the business solution using the Capital Management stage gate process with varying degrees of responsibility and will exhibit sound leadership and exemplary partnership, communication, and vendor management skills. $39,600.00 - 219,700.00

+ Develop new and innovative techniques to continuously improve quality and reduce calibration development time, including benchmarking and adopting from Gas PSTT processes and supporting gPR actions
+ Lead issue resolution of customer quality, VoCF, durability, and plant incidents and lead report out at quality and new model launch meetings, including supporting VPSE CPM updates
+ Lead Voice+ improvement initiatives for section/department to remove workplace obstacles and improve team morale
+ Conduct performance reviews and coaching of section personnel and participate in GSR related workgroup discussions
