+ Perform systems engineering and system of systems engineering requirements definition, requirements analysis, architecture design and implementation recommendations and the development, refinement, integration, and implementation of existing and future Integrated Fires (IF) architectures.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Hold an advanced degree from an accredited institution, within the fields of Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Operations Research.
+ Must have at least twenty years' experience in the use of military radar systems, and the networked Command and Control systems that translate sensor data into combat information.
+ Must possess demonstrable knowledge of the sciences of ballistics, information theory and feedback response, development of Kalman filtering and other statistical smoothing techniques to clarify sensor data and allow real-time and near real-time categorization, classification, and identification of a wide range of aerial objects.
+ Must possess demonstrated knowledge of simulation of tactical events across the full spectrum of Live, Virtual and Constructive simulation systems.
+ Must possess demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate level of fidelity required of simulation techniques to answer questions raised at different points in the Acquisition Cycle, as well as the limitations of particular simulations for validity and prediction.
+ Must be self-motivated and able to assertively document and follow-up on customer requests.
+ Must have hands-on knowledge in coordinating problem resolution and working across engineering functional areas.

Within this scope, the coolant flow management calls for mechatronics auxiliaries, such as high voltage water heaters, electric pumps and coolant valves, to correctly serve all the subsystems and components to be liquid-cooled (or heated) in the vehicle.

Auxiliary Pumps and Valve Engineering Lead has the responsibility to ensure that the components in his/her commodity are designed and validated to meet the requirements. The Engineer Lead is to design, develop and implement cutting edge mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, robotics, automation, an system integration, as well as experience in troubleshooting and optimizing components/systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that cooling components meet performance, safety, and quality standards, while contributing to the overall vehicle objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and manage the Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documents for cooling components, ensuring comprehensive validation and risk management.
  • Drive the achievement of program timing milestones by effectively coordinating tasks, resources, and activities within the project timeline.
  • Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) principles to guide the development process and ensure robust product launches.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to conduct simulations and analyses, optimizing component designs for efficiency and performance.
  • Leverage your expertise in software tools including CATIA V5, Unigraphics NX, Vis Mockup, and TeamCenter to design, visualize, and communicate component designs effectively.
  • Apply Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies to enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of cooling system components.
  • Take a leadership role in managing and fostering strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring their alignment with project goals and delivery of high-quality components.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, and quality teams to seamlessly integrate cooling components into the vehicle architecture.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with mechatronic systems.
  • The ability to understand and troubleshoot mechatronic problems, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Understanding of system requirements : Architecture, Networking, Thermal System/Controls, Vehicle Base Software, Controls Management and Calibration.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT Engineering Team

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelors degree in IT Discipline or 10+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Engineering and Operations involving complex classified DoD environments and mandatory security controls
  • DoD 8570 IAT-III compliant (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH)
  • Relevant IT Certification (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, Dell, Forcepoint, HP, HPE, Microsoft, Nutanix, Palo Alto, VMware)
  • Advanced knowledge in delivery and support to classified VDI/virtual environment platforms
  • Advanced knowledge in IT security mechanics
  • Experienced with implementing/supporting network-related services
  • Extended knowledge of modern operating systems
  • Prior experience with NSA CSfC requirements
  • Prior experience with Cross Domain Solutions and/or DISA Trusted Network Environment
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
