Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations to develop training materials.
- Design and deliver training sessions in various formats including in-person, virtual, and streamed content.
- Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to management, clients, and public regarding training programs.
- Create detailed reports, procedure manuals, and business correspondence to support training activities.

- Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into training program.
- Ensures that all Engineers and BMET classes have functioning analyzers, proper reagents and printed material prior to the class starting.
- BS degree in related field from an accredited four year college or university required in the field of Engineering; Minimum of 2 to 4 years Stago experience or 3 to 5 years related outside experience required, some training experience preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Microsoft Office Suite. All company usable software.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

In this highly technical, strategic role, you will lead a world-class engineering organization to design, build, and operate the fastest, most cost-efficient, and most reliable GPU training services in the industry. Your charter spans everything from distributed training frameworks (e.g., Megatron-LM, DeepSpeed, PyTorch FSDP, Horovod) and large-scale data pipelines to checkpointing, fault tolerance, and developer-friendly APIs - all delivered on CoreWeave's unique accelerated-compute infrastructure.
About the role:
- Vision & Roadmap - Define and continuously refine the end-to-end Training Platform roadmap, prioritizing scalability, throughput, and cost optimization for training the largest AI models. Set technical standards for distributed training frameworks, model/data parallelism strategies, mixed-precision techniques (FP8, BF16), and advanced checkpointing/restart mechanisms.
- Platform Architecture - Design and implement a Kubernetes- training control plane capable of managing multi-thousand GPU jobs with high reliability and efficiency. Build solutions for elastic distributed training, including job-aware autoscaling, dynamic GPU allocation, and multi-node communication optimizations using NCCL, SHARP, and RDMA. Integrate data pipeline optimizations, such as caching layers, streaming datasets, and sharded data loading to eliminate I/O bottlenecks. Implement state-of-the-art distributed training optimizationsincluding tensor/sequence parallelism, pipeline parallelism, optimizer sharding, activation checkpointing, and gradient compressionto push the limits of performance and scale.
- Operational Excellence - Establish SLOs/SLA dashboards, real-time observability, and self-healing mechanisms for thousands of concurrent training jobs across multiple regions. Develop cost-performance trade-off tooling that enables customers to seamlessly select hardware configurations that minimize time-to-train while optimizing for cost. Build robust fault tolerance and automatic recovery workflows to handle large-scale preemption, checkpoint failures, or data pipeline interruptions.
- Leadership - Hire, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers and managers passionate about building the world's leading AI training platform. Foster a customer-obsessed, metrics-driven engineering culture with crisp design reviews, deep technical rigor, and blameless post-mortems.
- Collaboration - Partner closely with Product, Orchestration, Networking, and Storage teams to deliver a unified CoreWeave experience. Work directly with flagship customers training frontier models to gather feedback, optimize workflows, and shape the platform roadmap.
Who You Are:
- 10+ years building large-scale distributed systems or HPC/cloud services, with 5+ years leading engineering teams.
- Proven success delivering mission-critical distributed training platforms or large-scale ML pipelines .
- Deep understanding of GPU/CPU resource allocation, NUMA-aware scheduling, interconnect topologies (NVLink, InfiniBand), and large-scale data handling .
- Experience with data, model, tensor, and pipeline parallelism , and advanced optimizer techniques for training massive models.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, service meshes, and CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads; familiarity with Slurm, Ray, or similar orchestration systems is a plus.
Hands-on experience with PyTorch, DeepSpeed, Megatron-LM, or other large-scale training frameworks . - Background in scaling pretraining of LLMs or multimodal models to thousands of GPUs.

The base salary range for this role is $206,000 to $303,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. **Job Description**
We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager with the right composition of knowledge, experience, spirit and drive, to join a dynamic team that develops leading edge test and measurement products. Engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next-generation communication, consumer electronics and computer products.
**Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:**
Engineering Project Manager for one or more Protocol Test products:
+ Manage various activities associated with developing new products and sustaining existing ones.
+ Manage local and/or overseas engineering teams to maintain project deliveries on time and with high quality.
+ Engineering representative to other departments in the company for the products being managed.
Take ownership of products for the technology(s) being managed:
+ Help define product specifications through hardware and software capabilities. Document the design and review with the rest of the team.
+ Help define logic architecture of various blocks of the design using Verilog and verify their block level functionality through simulation.
+ Ensure different disciplines (local and overseas) are synchronized and driving to a common goal.
Own NPI cycle for the products being developed and sustained:
+ Manage various activities associated with NPI for new products and sustaining existing ones.
+ Work with Operations and Support teams to maintain project timelines and prompt resolution to customer issues.
Work with customer support to reproduce and fix issues found in the field:
+ Reproduce customer environment to reproduce any failures found in the field.
+ Provide timely fixes/updates to the field to maintain customer delight.
**Required Education, Skills and Experience:**
+ BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
+ Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in FPGA, ASIC design/ development, and related project management.
+ Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
+ Strong understanding of various interfaces and protocols (depending on program being managed) and usage in industry.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
+ Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
+ Team player, persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
+ Open minded, quick learner, creative, likes challenges.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
+ Knowledge of FPGA tools such as Quartus, Vivado, Modelsim, Signal tap, and Chipscope.
+ Ability to write timing constraints and designs that repeatedly achieve timing closure.
+ Experience with Monitoring and/or Test & Measurement tools.
+ Experience with one or more of the following protocols: PCIe, USB, MPhy, C/D-Phy, or any high-speed serial protocol.
**Salary Range:**
$135,500.00-$180,600.000
