CDM Smith is looking for a Civil Engineering intern to join our Water Services team in Carlsbad!
You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry-leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. In this role, you will be assisting our with various projects and tasks including research, data collection, and design work.
Under direct supervision, students will work closely with senior engineers to assist with engineering designs involving site layout development, site grading and drainage, hydraulics and hydrology calculations, water distribution systems, collection systems, stormwater infrastructure and treatment and solid waste facilities. Qualifications:

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for daily tasks related to process engineering, research, and development (R&D), mechanical engineering, product development, and utilizing analytical skills. • Assist in research, design, and development of new products to meet ASME specifications.
