Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This includes standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties as assigned.

Oil, Gas & Chemical
The Oil, Gas & Chemical group is responsible for the planning and design of facilities across the oil, gas and chemicals spectrum, specializing in process design for renewable fuels, chemical, refining and midstream industries.
**Qualifications**
+ Pursuit of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited program.
+ Prior internship and/or related consulting experience Preferred

Overall Responsibility:
Under the direction of experienced engineers, work on a variety of clearly defined assignments that require the application of standard design engineering techniques. These can include preparing civil engineering drawings, specifications, and estimates for design projects; working on construction projects and completing project tasks. The work builds technical skills in design calculations, reading and interpreting surveys, researching design options, writing technical reports, managing projects, basic CADD review and drafting, and communicating with members of teams.
Key Job Duties:
- Manage assigned project tasks including preparing and updating project schedules and producing reports related to projects. May interact with other professionals and teams on project matters, under guidance
- Assist in preparing engineering related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids
- Assist with field work (e.g., groundwater and soil sampling, remediation system operations, site inspections)
- Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories to assist in interpreting and analyzing data
- Review contractor submittals for adherence to technical specifications on construction projects
- Compare investigation findings to relevant studies and provincial/federal regulations to assess compliance, draft reports documenting results and presenting findings; and

Transmission & Distribution
The Transmission & Distribution group is responsible for the planning and design of electrical transmission projects in power delivery, including overhead transmission, underground transmission, distribution systems, substation design, telecommunication & network engineering, pipelines, renewable power integration, security, grid modernization and more.
