Job Duties
- Supervises and coordinates Public Works capital and maintenance projects and related activities.
- Schedules and assigns work to assure completion of projects in accordance with established timelines and budget limitations.
- Supervises and participates in the review of complex Civil Engineering reports, designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates.
- Coordinates with Federal, State, County and local governments, franchise utility companies, private property owners, community organizations and other county departments relating to the design and construction of capital public works improvement projects.
- Manages property acquisition activities for public works projects.
- Assures proper technical oversight of County Public Works Projects.
- Prepares or directs the preparation of required reports for the County Road Administration Board, 6-year Transportation Improvement Plan, and budget reports
- Work with the public on engineering matters.
- Performs other tasks as directed.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Familiarity with tools, instruments, equipment and techniques commonly used in the performance of related tasks.
- Maintains a high standard for accuracy, completeness and efficiency in the preparation of reports.
- Ability to quickly grasp new techniques, deal with rapid changes in events, remain calm in stressful situations, relate to various personality styles in a calm, professional manner.
- Effectively communicates with others for purposes of gathering and relating information.

- A College Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Public Works, or related field.
- Professional Civil Engineer License preferred.
- Eight years' of progressively responsible experience successfully managing complex public works construction projects with five years' of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Previous work with managing consultants, permitting agencies, the County Road Administration Board, and federal and state grant funds beneficial.

What You Will Do:

DESCRIPTION GENERAL: (LOCATION: Everett Washington USA)
- Position is for either an experienced Aerospace Design or experienced Analysis Engineer
- Supports landing gear systems for In-Service and/or new Development Aircraft
- Performs Design or Analysis work that deploys agreed upon and harmonized company standards, incorporates appropriate lessons learned to identify the optimum engineering solution.
**Job Requirements**
QUALIFICATIONS GENERAL:
- University degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline
- Detail and results oriented with well-developed problem solving and ability to adhere to schedules
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent English written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Knowledge and experience with CAR/FAR/CS 25 specifications
- Able to travel internationally or work offsite for periods of time
- Able to work on U.S. Military Projects
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
*STRESS ENGINEER POSITION:
- Responsible for the structural integrity of Landing Gears and Landing Gear Systems
- Experience in the field of structural engineering with a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of Solid Mechanics and Fatigue.
- Proficient with computer programs such as Mathcad, nCode, PATRAN, NASTRAN, and ABAQUS.
- Collaborate with Design team, Customer, offload service providers, and external partner/supplier structural engineers
- Perform the following activities (not limited to):
- Classical Strength and Fatigue Analysis
- Finite Element Analysis
- Weight Optimization
- Establish Qualification Test Requirements
- Prepare and review analysis reports compliant to airworthiness specifications and customer requirements
- High quality checking of other stress analysts and offload resources work
- MRB Support
*DESIGN ENGINEER POSITION:
- Familiar with and has experience in all aspects of design of landing gear; mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and components
- Work on special projects (airworthiness, re-design) and design changes/improvements as required
- Participate in Concurrent Engineering with various company functions including Stress, Dynamics, Systems, Quality, Product Support, Manufacturing, etc.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to ASME Y.14.5M-1994
- Perform the following activities (not limited to):
- Use of CATIA V5 for solid modeling, kinematics, MBD and 2D layouts
- Create high quality Model Based Definition and/or comprehensive detail drawings of large, complex structural components in CATIA V5
- Create and interpret complex tolerance stack-ups and comprehensive design layouts
- Produce comprehensive layouts and tolerance analysis with a mindset of design for manufacture and cost reduction
- Ability to execute high quality checking of other Designer's work
- Basic engineering analysis to substantiate initial layouts
- Create and update documents using Product Data Management (PDM) system
- MRB Support

The Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for the electrical engineer team across a portfolio of products, providing technical leadership across multiple programs, technical advancements, identification and communication of customer needs, ensuring engineering excellence in execution, provide process oriented guidance across multiple sub-expertise areas within electrical engineering , and providing resource planning and communication across a matrixed team.

Primary Responsibilities
+ Responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for the electrical engineering team across a portfolio of programs
+ Lead technical thought on project and program execution
+ Facilitate the system design, derivation and development of subsystem requirements
+ Provide technical mentorship and subject manner expertise to the electrical engineering team
+ Supervisor and provide tasking for the electrical engineering team in coordination with the program managers to meet program requirements, schedule and costs
+ Active participation in the Business Capture Process to include writing, designing, and reviewing proposal material.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor of Science and/or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics from an accredited college.
+ 10+ years of engineering experience in subsea maritime programs that include software and electro-mechanical systems.
+ 5+ years in leadership of teams.
+ Able to obtain Secret clearance, requires US CItizenship
Preferred Qualifications
+ 10+ years of experience leading the design, development, and integration subsea maritime systems.
+ Understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
+ Exposure to program management responsibilities for DoD programs. Including program execution, contract negotiations, financial, and subcontractor management.
+ Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
+ Experienced with UUVs, payloads, and deployed subsea systems.
