SUMMARY:
As our Manufacturing Technician, you will perform testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing of mechanical and or electronic assemblies.
MUST HAVES:
J-001 for soldering, or IPC-6018 or IPC-6010
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and flight Ground Support Equipment; per associated flight drawings, procedures, quality standards and internal training.
- Assist engineers in flight/prototype hardware manufacture/test infrastructure development, documentation of assembly, test procedures and other specified tasks.
- Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.
- Work with facilities and maintenance to ensure that production equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
- Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent plus advanced training.
- At least 2 plus years of prior experience working in an Aerospace manufacturing setting in a similar position.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, good fabrication skills, and general shop experience.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office 365.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Engineering Technician to join our innovative team! The successful candidate will be working with cutting-edge technology for space applications and will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our advanced systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Assembling, testing, and troubleshooting various RF circuits and systems.
2. Perform complex soldering and rework, including surface mount assembly for components as small as 0402, with proficiency in handling a wide variety of package types (e.g., QFN, QFP, TSOP, through hole connectors, etc.) under a microscope. J-STD or NASA soldering with space addendum certification preferred.
3. Utilizing Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and digital multi-meters.
4. Build and test multi-wire cable harnesses, including developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and conducting thorough verification testing. IPC or NASA harnessing certification is preferred.
5. Assist in the design of RF PCB's and electronics.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 8 years' experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
2. Technical experience with electronic systems, including analog, digital, and RF subsystems.
3. Experience with soldering & de-soldering using rework tools, such as hot tweezers, hot plates, hot air rework stations and reflow ovens
4. One of the following certifications: J-001 for soldering, or IPC-6018 or IPC-6010
5. Familiarity with schematic and layout design in Altium Designer (preferred)

Location: Fully Remote

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Compensation: $160,000-$185,000, based on experience

Job Summary
Circadence is seeking a visionary and technically adept Software Engineering Manager to lead platform development for Project Ares-our award-winning, gamified, cloud-hosted cybersecurity training platform on Microsoft Azure. Designed to deliver immersive, on-demand cyber ranges for real-world skills development, Project Ares sets the standard for relevant, engaging, and high-fidelity training to prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
In this leadership role, you'll combine strategic planning, technical guidance, and engineering oversight to shape the future of interactive cybersecurity training. We're looking for someone with proven experience managing cloud-native, remote software teams and who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Technical Leadership
*Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for the Project Ares platform in close collaboration with executive leadership and the scenario development team.
*Oversee the architecture and implementation of the platform's major components: UI/frontend, game service (player interaction logic), range service (orchestration/configuration/teardown), and backend infrastructure.
*Ensure alignment with business goals, security standards, and engineering best practices.
Team Management & Development
*Manage and mentor a distributed, high-performance team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
*Grow and scale the engineering team in response to evolving platform needs and organizational priorities.
*Provide regular feedback, performance evaluations, and career development support for direct reports.
Platform Development & Operations
*Guide the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Azure-based microservices.
*Ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency using Azure tooling, Infrastructure as Code, and robust monitoring infrastructure.
*Implement and sustain a culture of DevSecOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing.
Collaboration & Execution
*Collaborate outside engineering with scenario developers, QA, and product teams to build seamless user experiences and impactful training scenarios.
*Lead engineering contributions to technical documentation, architecture decisions, and engineering processes.
Qualifications
Required Experience
*5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in leadership or management roles, ideally in cloud-based product environments.
*Proven experience deploying and maintaining production systems in Microsoft Azure, including Kubernetes-based applications.
*Direct hands-on experience or familiarity with:
oFrontend: React, JavaScript/TypeScript
oBackend: Golang microservices, Python services
oInfrastructure: Azure Container Registry (ACR), Kubernetes (AKS), SaltStack, Terraform, or ARM
oMonitoring & Automation: e.g., Datadog, CI/CD tooling, Azure pipelines
Leadership & Communication
*Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills with experience managing remote, cross-functional teams.
*Excellent communication skills, with experience working alongside technical teams and executive leadership.
Cybersecurity & Education Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
*Familiarity with cyber ranges and/or on-demand infrastructure management, user/threat automation tools.
