Two (2) years of experience with Unigraphics NX; Injection mold filling analysis including Autodesk-Moldflow; and Injection modeling machines. One (1) year of experience with Class A surface appearance requirements in the automotive industry associate with as-molded, painted, chromed, and metalized parts.

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline required; Masters degree or MBA preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
- At least 5 years in engineering leadership, preferably in high-volume or automotive sectors.
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in engineering systems, reliability, maintenance practices, and automation technologies.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and data-driven operational improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Certifications
- PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar certifications are highly desirable.

In this high-impact role, you will report directly to the VP/GM of Branson Americas and lead a talented team of Project Engineers and Technicians, focused on delivering customized, high-performance solutions for our global customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving differentiated growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across the Project Engineering group.
This leader will also champion organizational process improvements , drive the standardization of project workflows , and build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. In addition to leading a dedicated team of engineers and project professionals, this role carries the added responsibility of acting as Site Leader for the Innovation Center, encouraging a culture of safety, inclusion, collaboration, and customer focus.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Provide direct leadership to a team of Project Engineers and Project Technicians responsible for delivering large, project-based business, ensuring effective management of time, cost, and quality.
- Define and implement the overarching project execution strategy , ensuring alignment with Branson's operational and commercial goals.
- Develop and mentor team members, encouraging a collaborative, development-focused environment passionate about professional growth and accountability.
- Oversee project planning processes , including the definition of scope, objectives, timelines, prioritization, and budget management.
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) to ensure cost, quality, and lead time targets are met-holding the team accountable for measurable performance and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination with internal and external collaborators , including customers.
- Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across project workflows.
- Act as Site Leader for Branson's Innovation Center in Farmington Hills, MI, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, safety, and customer service across a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant years of progressive experience in Engineering, Technical project management or Product development roles commensurate with teh level of this position.
- Strong eye for business and ability to connect technical execution to customer value and business growth.
- Experience implementing standardized project workflows and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record to inspire, coach, and build high-performing teams in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and collaborator leadership skills.
- Ability to travel 15% based on business need
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Engineering, Technical project management or Product development roles.
- 7+ years' experience leading a team
- Experience working in a technical, manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Experience with Project Management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
- Experience with CRM (Oracle, SalesForce, etc.)
- Experience in custom equipment, automation, or Engineered-to-Order (ETO) environments.
- PMI/PMP certification
