**Location**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and direct multi-discipline engineering teams by collaborating, setting direction and expectations, coordinating with procurement and construction districts
- Maintain overall ownership of engineering execution to meet project milestones and objectives
- Support project change management processes to ensure the project scope of work, schedule and budgets are clearly defined and understood
- Establish project procedures consistent with contractual documents and quality plans for all engineering work; determine and oversee engineering project controls, schedules and budgets
- Serve as engineering representative with customers, constructors, subcontractors, and vendors at kick-off meetings, job walks, project reviews, and other project stakeholder engagements
- Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure engineering procedures are followed
- Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, making adjustments as necessary to comply with project needs within contractual obligations, or adjust engineering deliverables to meet customer needs
- Ensure all work products are consistent with industry codes and standards and in accordance with good engineering practice
- Provide training and mentoring to mid-level and senior engineers and/or project engineers to promote employee development

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering in any discipline from a four-year college or university.
+ Advanced degrees or certifications a plus.
+ At least 7+ years' related experience and/or training, specifically in the oil, gas, and chemical industry.

ABOUT THE JOB:
We're looking for a Civil or Structural Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll support the design, analysis, and execution of a wide range of engineered water and precast infrastructure productsincluding separators, lift stations, stormwater systems, and utility structures. You'll be responsible for providing structural design support across multiple precast plants, collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality, code-compliant solutions. This position combines technical engineering with hands-on project coordination, including reviewing plans, supporting production teams, driving process improvements, and mentoring junior staff. It's an opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects while growing in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present project-specific solutions to civil, plumbing, and mechanical engineering customers
- Provide high-quality design calculations, basic to complex illustrations, and advice to integrate ParkUSA products on site plans in order to get specified
- Assist in obtaining structural designs for full range of precast products manufactured by the Precast Infrastructure plants
- Respond to civil, plumbing, and mechanical engineering clients on project-specific inquiries, design, and product structural requirements
- Establish and maintain rapport with civil, plumbing, and mechanical engineer customers
- Support field and internal team members to achieve team goals
- Assist sales team during the project bid phase by providing design review and confirming appropriate product design
- Provide project and technical support for submittals drawings, production, and product delivery
- Maintain engineering standards and procedures
- Manage product design, calculations, drawings, estimating, quotes, production, delivery, and installation of products.
- Assist Plants with Engineering design and production, and improvements to design and production processes.
- Review drawings to ensure improvement on efficiency and quality.
- Provide engineering and development to new and existing products
- Provide oversight and guidance, planning, training, and mentoring to plant-level teams executing lean process improvement activities
- Drive manufacturing process change through active hands-on communication and coordination with plant-level teams
- Provide follow-up and tracking to ensure identified improvement opportunities are completed as planned
- Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications
