Within this team, you will have the opportunity to work on Data Center projects of various sizes across the country. The engineers on this team are a core design group dedicated to serving Data Center clients and similar major commercial programs. Within this team you will be exposed to different design requirements across multiple geographic regions as well as different Mission Critical and commercial projects of various sizes and operational needs.
This position involves working collaboratively within the Mission Critical core design team, project partners, and various different services in the development of private civil site designs; construction plans and specifications; preparing reports, studies, and construction contract documents; computing quantities and preparing opinions of cost; performing field observations and assisting in the coordination and management of construction activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering projects working directly with engineers, project managers, and design team members
- Deliver high quality drafting of engineering drawings and exhibits
- Assist with maintaining and further developing drafting standards, mentoring staff, and implement industry leaching technology with respect to CADD and design software
- Draft plans for civil and related discipline design projects utilizing AutoDesk Civil 3D.
- Perform site grading analysis and calculations utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D; prepare street and utility plan and profiles, project details, and quantity take offs.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete project timelines and requirements
- Assist civil engineers with site design, utility design, grading, and overall plan production.
- Manages deadlines and prioritizes assignments; able to work on multiple projects as schedules dictate
- Assists with the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
- Utilizes technologies in development of three-dimensional models of civil systems.
- Coordinates with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.

**Pay Range:**
- Locations in MN, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 55,400.00 - Max Salary $ 77,600.00
