As a Horizontal Construction Engineer in the Army National Guard, you'll handle the heavy lifting to help your crew succeed. You'll operate bulldozers, roadgraders, and other massive equipment to clear the way for construction.

Your responsibilities will include leveling earth for runways and roadbeds, clearing, excavating, and digging areas of construction sites, spreading fill material, transporting heavy construction equipment with a tractor-trailer, moving heavy building materials with cranes, and assisting in performance of combat engineer missions.

**Pre-award work:**
+ Manage staff and activities for a project of significant size and complexity and develop staffing plans and schedules to meet the delivery schedule and task requirements.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree or greater in Civil Engineering with a focus on transportation.
+ U.S. Professional Engineer license is required with ability to obtain in other states as needed.
+ 15 yrs of directly related experience with at least five of these years in a Design Manager position with project management responsibility on large complex multidisciplinary projects.
+ Successful completion of management role in delivery of one or more projects in excess of $500 million in construction value with a minimum of three or more in excess of $250 million.
+ 10 yrs of specific experience in delivery of design-build and/or P3 projects as a Design Manager, Segment Lead or Discipline Lead with experience in both pre- and post-award phases.
+ 5 or more years of managing an engineering and design team.
+ 5 years of experience negotiating upstream and downstream engineering services agreements for alternative delivery projects.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
+ Assist in the evaluation of emerging vendor solutions in investment management and cultivate relationships with those most relevant to our clients' needs
+ Assist in the implementation of strategic investment management solutions including operating model, process reengineering, technical design and development

Qualifications
Required
+ 3+ years of experience in project coordination and management
+ 3+ years of experience in Financial Consulting
+ 3+ years of experience with various financial technology packages
+ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
+ Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
+ Financial Services Industry knowledge (understanding of Front, Middle and Backoffice processes)
+ Experience with the following: Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg, Simcorp, or other EMS/OMS platforms
+ Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
+ Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
+ Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

Our client is seeking a seasoned and visionary Director of Project Management to lead their expanding project management office (PMO). This critical leadership role offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending strategic oversight from a remote setting with essential on-site collaboration. You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization, ensuring the successful delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing, implementing, and refining the organization's project management framework, including processes, templates, and tools.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of project managers.
  • Overseeing the full lifecycle of major projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards.
  • Establishing and managing project portfolios, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
  • Implementing robust risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
