Your Opportunity
The role of a senior engineer is to work on projects both small and large, leading and supervising a team to execute the work. You will perform a variety of tasks related to civil engineering in support of dam, power, and infrastructure projects that may include calculations, field work, coordination of tasks and assignments, and client interaction.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing mentoring and training for junior staff.
- Promoting collaboration and teamwork across business lines and geographies.
- Contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Serving as Engineer-of-Record on projects.
- Assisting in developing project scope, budgets, and design for various sized projects, supporting marketing and business development professionals in positioning for potential projects, writing technical portions of proposals, participating in client interviews, and supporting negotiations for project contracts.
- Assisting with establishing project objectives, procedures, and performance standards, and leading multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services for multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Supervising the work of other engineers, including setting priorities for their scope of work, their budgets and their schedules for completing the work.
- Leading project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Maintaining and enhancing our reputation with clients, approval agencies, and industry professionals as an outstanding service provider.
- Developing client relationships to facilitate project activities.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

Your Key Responsibilities

**Job Summary:** Generally responsible for performing engineering tasks to support the complete design of small and large civil engineering projects using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. **Ideal Background**
**Education:** Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.

**Experience:** This position requires up to 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in civil-site engineering in the industrial setting. Previous experience in commercial, government, or infrastructure setting may be considered for this position. Experience in state and local land development permitting is required.

+ Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents.

+ Experience with internal and external project management

+ Experience with managing, maintaining and creating Owner and Architect relationships
