In this position you will work with a multidisciplinary team taking on a variety of tasks that blend your theoretical knowledge with practical application. Your responsibilities could also include preparing construction cost estimates, conducting code compliance reviews, performing field investigations, drafting technical reports and memorandums, reviewing equipment submittals & shop drawings, responding to contractor RFIs (Requests for Information), and so much more. You'll take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

This position will support the AEW&C Sustainment program, which provides continued operational support of the AEW&C aircraft to international customers from Australia, Korea and **Türkiye** . **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
+ Coordinates with engineering functions to define requirements and other specialty engineering groups.

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and respected Principal Civil Engineer with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering to join their esteemed firm in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US . This hybrid role combines critical on-site collaboration with remote flexibility. The Principal Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for leading complex geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for a wide range of projects, including foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and earthworks. Key duties include overseeing site investigations, interpreting subsurface data, performing advanced geotechnical modeling and analysis, developing design recommendations, preparing technical reports and specifications, and providing expert technical guidance to project teams and clients. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, contributing to business development efforts, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all geotechnical aspects of projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field, and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering is mandatory, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering major projects. Expertise in geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, FLAC, or similar is essential. Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and client-facing communication skills are critical.
