- Language Class : Private English tutoring for adults and children, from basic to advanced levels.
- Location : Virtual or Face-to-face. Lessons are often held at the student's home or workplace. Instructors must reside in the greater Chattanooga area. The Visiting Instructor will teach 24 credit hours within FYRW for academic year .
**Essential Functions**
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

+ Work effectively with students of various ages and diverse competencies and cultural backgrounds.
+ Teach writing to first-year students with a rhetorical focus.

- Native speakers: Minimum ILR proficiency level 2 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English and ILR proficiency level 4 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in your native language.
- Native English speakers: Minimum ILR proficiency level 3 in reading and listening in the target language and ILR 4 in English.
- Proficiency levels must be documented within the last 3 years.
- **Teaching Experience** : Five years of experience in teaching adult language education and methodology.
- **Technical Skills** :
- Six months of experience using appropriate language fonts, keyboards, and language training software.
