Job Description
The Enrollment Management Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting strategic operations and optimization of the Enrollment Management (EM) Division's systems tools, including Technolutions Slate. This individual will be a member of the EM Systems team and will provide support in day-to-day maintenance of the undergraduate Slate instance, enhancing and expanding the use of tools for admissions and recruitment efforts. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have experience building and managing portals. This individual will also support high-quality execution of projects, including workflow and documentation builds.
The primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- General Slate Maintenance: Assist in the creation and refining of existing rules, forms, automation, and associated queries; play a role in the updating of assets for annual Cycle Prep. Manage existing processes for ongoing record maintenance.
- Portal Development: Assist in the development, maintenance and updating of custom Slate portals that provide a seamless user experience for both internal users, prospective students, and external stakeholders (e.g. parents/guardians/families).
- Application & Workflows Support: Assist in building, revising, and maintaining Slate-hosted applications, as well as workflows related to application reviews and pre-college programs.
- Dataset Management: Maintain and optimize Slate datasets such as Organizations and Organization Contacts, ensuring data accuracy and clear processes for ongoing maintenance.
- Documentation & Training: Assist in maintaining and stewarding of ongoing Systems documentation efforts; provide functional support and general training for Slate users.
- Project Execution & Troubleshooting: Participate in summer project planning, work with stakeholders as a solution architect to bring a project to life; act as a point person for Slate end-user support, assist in the troubleshooting of issues.

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a higher education admissions systems or operations role, with a focus on CRM configuration
- Experience with Technolutions Slate
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS; familiarity with liquid markup and UX design principles
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $61,700.00 - $84,300.00. This range represents the University's good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials. The Enrollment Management Tour Guide will be a member of Charlotte Latin's First Impressions Team, warmly welcoming prospective families to the school. The Office of Enrollment Management comprises five functional areas, including The HUB - a one-stop student service center that provides individualized, professional and highly efficient enrollment services to students and families. The HUB and the other offices within Enrollment Management, including the Office of Admission, University Registrar's Office, Student Financials and Enrollment Systems,, and the Office of International Education, work together to provide students, families and the campus community with student support and administrative services from the time of recruitment, to enrollment and all the way through graduation.
The HUB staff are responsible for delivering comprehensive services and counsel for matters related to financial aid, billing and payments, ID cards, and registration and academic records with the goal of supporting and enhancing Carnegie Mellon's recruitment, retention and persistence goals.
The Student Services Specialist (SSS) provides information, resources and services to students and parents in The HUB and works in partnership with the Assistant Directors in our centralized student servicing center. At the front counter, on the phone and via email, the SSS responds to questions from current and graduating students regarding enrollment processes, financial aid, student loans, billing and student account payment, and the sometimes complex intersection of these areas. The SSS is expected to seek out information within Enrollment Management or on campus in order to redirect student inquiries, if needed. This position attains an understanding for the inner-workings of the university environment, while offering and expecting opportunities for taking initiative and process improvement.
**_Core responsibilities include:_**
+ Provide answers to inquiries from the University community via phone, email and in-person regarding Enrollment Management services, which includes Student Accounts Office, Student Financial Aid Office, University Registrar's Office and Enrollment Systems.
+ Informed on the following processes and can assist students and parents with the financial aid process and eligibility requirements, basic registration information regarding cross registration, add/drop process, withdrawal and leave of absence, change of grade, etc.
+ Responsible for the day to day operations of the ID Card Services station.
+ Training new staff members and student ambassadors.
+ Participate in on campus events.
+ Collect check and scholarship payments and provide students with receipts.
+ Provide services including, student requests for on demand/walk in transcripts, documents for financial aid and other enrollment forms.

Department Summary
The Financial Aid Office is responsible for the determination of eligibility for and awarding of federal, state, institutional and private grants, scholarships, and work and loan programs in excess of $150M annually to over 13,000 eligible students. The office is responsible for adhering to the regulatory requirements as outlined in federal and state regulations as well as donor and institutional policies and for assuring compliance by the University. The Office's primary function is to provide appropriate financial aid based on federal and state parameters and in keeping with CSU and Cal Poly institutional policies.
Key Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the practices, procedures and activities of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office or the ability to rapidly acquire that knowledge.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, set priorities, and work independently utilizing resources and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply program rules and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening skills, and emotional intelligence necessary to communicate with tact and diplomacy regarding sensitive and confidential financial matters.
- Ability to collect, compile, analyze, and evaluate data and make verbal or written presentations based on these data.
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job-related field. Two years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field.
- A masters degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience.
- Additional specialized experience during which the applicant has acquired and successfully applied the required knowledge and abilities may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $0,996 - 66,612 Per Year
Classification Range: 60,996 - 86,736 Per Year

JOB GOAL
Responsible for student orientation, testing, registration, financial aid, veteran affairs, academic advising and counseling for the campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Directs and supervises the Student Affairs staff.
- Directs and supervises all student activities and serves as Student Government Sponsor if this activity is not assigned to an Advisor.
- Serves as a member of the Council on Student Development, recommends agenda items to the Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, and takes necessary follow-up action on Council recommendations in his or her area.
- Makes recommendations for the employment of personnel to the appropriate Campus Provost or Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
- Coordinates activities and office personnel coverage with the appropriate Campus Provost or Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
- Prepares the annual evaluations of persons supervised.
- Assures the following student services are carried out efficiently and effectively:
- Orientation

- Career development
- Student recruitment

- Student information dissemination
- Coordinates appropriate Campus activities.
- Resolves apparent and referred conflicts and problems on student status and records, and on student discipline and complaints when possible, and refers them to the appropriate Campus Provost or Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, as needed.

- Recommends approval of Student Organization Charter requests to the Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.

- Assures the preparation and maintenance of student files, Veteran Administration files and financial aid files.
- Coordinates faculty involvement in the areas of recruitment and retention of students with the Dean or Associate Dean.
- Serves as liaison person with public schools, community/junior and senior colleges.
- Provides academic, vocational and personal counseling to students.
- Coordinates and recommends students for PHSC and transfer scholarships to the Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
- Assists in implementing the College Equity Plan.
