The Enrollment Representative is tasked with generating sales revenue by matching students to ed2go continuing education / career training programs. Enrollment Representatives will prioritize qualified leads, generated through our website, referrals, live chat, and telephone, to achieve personal and team metrics. The Enrollment Representative consults with prospective students ranging from course descriptions and instructors to financing, and enrollment, keeping the customer experience forefront throughout!
Successful Enrollment Representatives are effective at asking appropriate, probing questions, overcoming objections, and effective management of time, including being voice-to-voice whenever possible
+ Ensure the highest quality student experience from an individual's first contact with the school through their initial enrollment by demonstrating our processes and infrastructure.
+ Generate student enrollment by calling on prospective students, advising them on how the school can meet their educational and career needs and guides qualified applicants through the admissions and enrollment process.
+ Complete all required reports regarding sales and sales campaigns, market feedback and team territory management activities.
+ Improve your sales conversations using a shown sales methodology and time management techniques.
+ Handle your pipeline to meet/exceed all assigned revenue and enrollment objectives.
**Skills you will need here:**
**Basic (Required)**
+ Some college coursework or continuing education certification completed
+ Minimum 1 years' sales experience, where your compensation was directly affected by achievement of goals. i.e. commissioned sales plan
+ Online proficiency; ability to navigate sites and applications; technically literate
+ Ability to work beyond conventional business hours to complete assignments as required
**Preferred**
+ Shown success in telephone sales
+ Experience in a call center
+ Four-year degree
+ Higher Education Admissions Experience

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

+ Monday-Friday - 8-4:30 or 8:30-5
+ Contract To Hire
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for daily workflow activities to include the following membership/enrollment activities: processing of applications for new enrollments, terminations/cancellations, changes, renewals, and database updates.
+ Receives and logs subscriber and member enrollment applications to the system.
+ Processes/keys applications including new enrollments, terminations/cancellations, changes, and renewals. Updates all electronic enrollment files. Works edit/error reports generated from membership transactions.
+ Works with multiple operational areas to ensure relevant/appropriate group structure, status, benefits, and/or billing. May prepare and issue contracts, benefit books, and standard/custom ID cards.
+ Responds to and resolves customer inquiries. Contacts plan administrators and internal and external customers to resolve issues/problems.
+ Participates in special projects as assigned related to enrollment, billing and reconciliations.
**Experience:**
+ 1 year of experience in a membership/billing/accounts area.
**Skills:**
+ Ability to acquire knowledge of the membership system. Good judgment.
+ Effective customer service and organizational skills. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
+ Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Computer systems support knowledge. Knowledge of booklet id card preparation, underwriting enrollment regulations, contract formats.

**Facilitated Enrollment Representative**
**Location: New York City, New York.**
Experience interacting and assisting individuals throughout the NY State's health insurance programs; (Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, and the Essential Plan) is required.
Shift: Includes weekend work.
Must be able to speak English and Chinese and/or Korean.
Field: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.

The **Facilitated Enrollment Representative** is responsible for providing education to potential members on the Affordable Care Act and the marketplace and facilitating new enrollments.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Provides assistance to the community in understanding the marketplace and the insurance programs it offers.
+ Provides individuals and small businesses with assistance in completing enrollment applications.
+ Educates potential members on the tools available to help narrow their plan options.
+ Assists individuals in comparing and contrasting the benefits costs and the quality ratings of different plans.
+ Assists assigned Community Based Organizations with presenting product information to constituents.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must complete required training and authorization for FEs within 30 days of hire.
+ Requires a High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ Prior experience in healthcare preferred.
+ Excellent customer service, problem solving, and communication and interpersonal skills strongly preferred.
+ Daily work activities include working at events, community outreach vehicles, provider offices, community-based organizations, table marketing. Experience in these areas preferred.
+ Certified application counselor certification preferred.
+ Experience working with diverse and underserved populations including communities of various ethnicities and cultural backgrounds and/or underserved communities preferred.
+ Additional responsibilities may include conducting presentations to small- and large-scale audiences. Experience preferred.
+ Understanding of Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint strongly preferred.
Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $26.17 to $39.26.
