DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE PLANNING
ABOUT YOU:
Are you a strategic supply chain leader who thrives in a complex, seasonal business? Jostens is hiring a Director of Enterprise Planning to lead our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. In this high-impact role, you'll integrate demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and supply planning to align business operations and deliver results. You'll collaborate across functions and guide a high-performing team to optimize performance, manage risk, and support our made-to-order product model. YOU WILL:
+ Own the SIOP Process. Lead a disciplined, monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning cycle that integrates demand, supply, and inventory across all product lines and business units.
+ Drive Cross-Functional Alignment. Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations to ensure consensus and clarity on operational and financial plans.
+ Lead Supply & Inventory Strategy. Align manufacturing and procurement plans to balance capacity with demand and optimize inventory performance.
+ Translate Plans to Financial Impact. Support quarterly and annual planning cycles by delivering actionable capacity, revenue, and working capital insights.
+ Mitigate Risk with Scenario Planning. Anticipate and address supply and demand risks, building proactive mitigation strategies to maintain service and margin targets.
+ Build & Lead a High-Performing Team. Develop and mentor the planning team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
+ Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Up to 20%
YOU HAVE:
+ Experience. 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
+ Education. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
+ Planning Expertise. Deep understanding of seasonal, made-to-order, and custom product environments-and how to plan effectively within them.
+ Leadership & Influence. Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
+ Business & Financial Acumen. Strong grasp of margin improvement, cash flow, inventory ROI, and how planning drives enterprise value.
+ Technical Skills. Familiarity with ERP and planning systems; advanced Excel and analytical capabilities.

The Finance Manager is expected to lead a team of 1-3 Finance professionals and play a key leadership role on an extended core team of cross functional experts who will be accountable for driving the design/enhancement, build, testing, and deployment of standardized Planning & Forecasting capabilities to the Sectors.

This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional toolset of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of business & project stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level. The leader will need to develop strong business partnerships across key stakeholder groups, including but not limited to: Business Unit Experts (incl Integration Leads, SMEs, & FP&A), EPM Finance, Datahub Reporting, J&J Technology (JJT), Central Finance (CFIN), Data Design, Project Management, Change, Communication & Training (CC&T), Integration & Deployment Team, Digital Finance & Innovation Teams, & SigniFi Program Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key leadership role on an Enterprise EPM Squad comprised of a global team of cross functional experts, in the end-to-end design, build, testing, and deployment of standardized Planning & Forecasting capabilities for respective area.
  • Partner closely with key project team members to develop an integrated project plan (inclusive of objective, scope, timeline, resourcing, interdependencies, hand-offs, etc.). Ensure cross-program interdependencies, conflicts, and challenges are transparently communicated to leadership & proactively work with respective stakeholders to implement controls & risk mitigations to resolve issues and keep project on track. 
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of legacy processes and business requirements. Plan/execute fit-gap workshops & ongoing discussions with stakeholders in order to develop & document a comprehensive set of Integrated Business Requirements that will ensure the Enterprise standard  Planning & Forecasting process/capabilities, will meet the needs of each Sector, driving value and efficiency in line with guiding principles.
  • Responsible for working closely with JJT to ensure Integrate Business Requirements are translated into technical specs for build phase and development is prioritized according to the project plan. Also, responsible for defining the testing strategy, inclusive of developing test use cases, writing test scripts, and partnering with SMEs to execute tests and document/remediate any issues.
  • Partner across the organization to drive global core business capability standardization, alignment, and adoption for the finance function. Ensure successful deployment through flawless project execution, including post go-live hypercare support.
  • Stay abreast of capacity led enhancements impacting respective models and ensure that enhancements are aligned with Squad designs and guiding principles and consider impacts to ongoing development work.
  • Develop and deliver program presentations for business stakeholders and senior-level program leadership.
  • Lead a high performing team of 1-3 Finance professionals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and manage a team with a defined area of responsibility is required.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing FP&A technology solutions is preferred.
  • Change management skills and ability to work in ambiguous situations, including the ability to drive others to adapt to a changing environment is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, influencing skills and ability to develop strong relationships with executive leadership team members is required.
  • The ability to partner with, influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management is required.
  • Foundational project management skills are required.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, proactively identifying and mitigating process risks within a cross-functional, global organization and effectively lead and govern decision-making bodies is required.
  • Innovative and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to translate a complex business operations landscape into a streamlined process design is preferred.
  • This role can be located in either New Brunswick, NJ or Wokingham United Kingdom.
  • The role may require 5%-10% domestic and/or international travel, based on employee’s home location.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000- $173,500

The compensation and benefits information set forth in thi s posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, the ERP Manager is a key member of the Information Systems team. This role will serve as the primary leader and advocate for our Epicor Eclipse ERP system.     • Champion communication and training initiatives to increase adoption of ERP features.
    • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical staff, and external Epicor support or consultants.

Role Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, the ERP Manager is a key member of the Information Systems team. This role will serve as the primary leader and advocate for our Epicor Eclipse ERP system. The ERP Manager will be responsible for ensuring stability, optimization, and strategic evolution of the ERP platform, while fostering collaboration across internal teams and business units. The ERP Manager will lead a team of ERP Specialists and Programmer Analysts.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the ERP Manager will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead the ERP department as part of the Information Systems (IS) team.
    • Set the vision and roadmap for the Epicor Eclipse platform in alignment with business needs and IS strategy.
    • Collaborate with leaders across departments (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc.) to align ERP capabilities with business goals.
    • Ensure ERP systems connect smoothly with other key business tools such as CRM, PIM, Workflow, APIs, and Data/AI integrations
  • ERP System Oversight
    • Oversee day-to-day stability, upgrades, security, and performance of Epicor Eclipse.
    • Evaluate and socialize new capabilities, updates, and modules released by Epicor that may benefit the business.
    • Ensure legacy customizations are well documented and that technical debt is managed wisely.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration between IS departments and business users.
    • Champion communication and training initiatives to increase adoption of ERP features.
    • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical staff, and external Epicor support or consultants.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Lead the identification and delivery of ERP improvements that drive operational efficiency.
    • Partner with API and Workflow teams to streamline and automate business processes.
    • Support the use of analytics and reporting via collaboration with the Data & AI team.

What you'll need:
  • Work Experience : 7 years of experience working with ERP systems; 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role; Proven track record of leading ERP enhancements and system optimization
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; strong knowledge of Epicor Eclipse or similar ERP
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented and focused on continuous improvement; strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy/security; ability to manage project timelines, budgets and resources
  • Cross-functional skills: Experience of managing technical teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams

**The Opportunity:**
Develop and extend the comprehensive architectural runway for an ERP system centered around Oracle PeopleSoft HCM that meets the current and future needs of the business.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with stakeholders across different areas of the program team to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring the ERP system aligns with business goals and processes.
+ Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of ERP modules and third-party tools, ensuring seamless functionality and system efficiency.
+ Develop and maintain system documentation, including architecture designs, data models, and workflows.
+ Ensure the system's security, compliance, and scalability, implementing best practices and industry standards.
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to the implementation team. Coordinate with the IT support team to ensure the ERP system is supported, maintained, and updated as needed.
+ Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in systems, recommending improvements and innovations to best meet organizational objectives.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, or information systems, or relevant technical field
+ Minimum 7 or more years direct experience of deploying and sustaining ERP systems.
+ This position requires an individual with Senior ERP Engineer/Architect skills, application knowledge, and business experience to lead the delivery of quality applications in the expanding Peoplesoft (e.g., HCM, ELM, CRM), Analytics, and Integration environments, with the ability and desire to lead technical solutions, and collaborate closely with the senior consultants/team members to enhance the capabilities of the HCM solution and enabling technologies.
+ Ability to communicate and interact with executive level clients
+ Demonstrated ERP functional/technical implementation expertise in a large, complex environment
+ Strong knowledge of database design, data management, and data integration techniques and technologies
+ Experience evaluating and implementing technologies that integrate ERP solutions with upstream and downstream systems.
+ Demonstrated expertise providing technical guidance and leadership to implement information technology solutions that efficiently meet user requirements, are maintainable, and consider future product and market direction.
