We are looking for an amazing bartender who is ready to join a growing food + drink team within a vibrant new hotel property in Old Town Scottsdale. This position is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Adheres to all health regulations and local liquor laws. Ensures exceptional guest service and creates an inviting bar atmosphere. Follows company and brand standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Greets all guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Accurately and efficiently takes, enters, prepares and delivers guest orders according to standards.
- Responds to guests needs and provides the highest level of quality service.
- Assists other associates as needed to meet guest's needs.
- Follows all Canopy by Hilton cash handling/POS procedures to ensure accurate closing of all guest checks.
- Dispenses appropriate level of alcohol; prepares drinks to recipe and company brand standards.
- Responsible for proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
- Consistently checks guests' identification and monitors guest consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with state and local liquor laws.
- Responsible for disposal of garbage, picking up trays, re-stocking barware, and clearing/wiping down tables and counter.
- Transfers dishes to the dish wash area and washes barware.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to Canopy by Hilton internal audit procedures.
- Assists with inventory, completing inventory par sheets, and other responsibilities as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area and handles all beverage/food in compliance with Canopy by Hilton, local, state and federal regulations.
- Follow all Canopy by Hilton procedures for guest/associate incidents.
- Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
- Adheres to all company and Canopy by Hilton brand policies and procedures.
- Works as a team player and actively contributes to the success of the bar/restaurant experience.
What You'll Bring
- Must have one or more years of previous bartending experience.
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift. Ability to lift, transport, and connect a keg weighing up to 150 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting continuously throughout the shift
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
- Title IV Liquor and Food Handlers Certification, or the ability to obtain certification as required.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

The Food Enthusiast (FE) Coordinator will assist the Food Enthusiast Manager with daily operations, class execution through kitchen support and guest services for Food Enthusiast programming at the Copia campus, which includes both public and private hands-on cooking classes and beverage classes. The coordinator will assist in overseeing the functional space including classrooms, kitchens and outdoor spaces used for Food Enthusiasts programs and collaborate in the planning of all Food Enthusiast Programs. This position will provide guest services in the kitchen setting and coordinator tasks from an office setting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provides a fun and welcoming experience for Food Enthusiast guests through exceptional customer service, communication, and operational skills.
- Assists in the daily operation of all Food Enthusiast programs at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Copia while providing the highest level of customer service standards.
- Effectively communicates timing, space usage, program details, and all other service components of each Food Enthusiasts program for all internal teams.
- Assists with class operations and events, by printing enrollment rosters and guest menus; organizing boot camp uniforms, equipment, and course guides; polishing glassware; folding aprons and preparing menu packets; greeting guests for public and private classes; assists with setup and breakdown; and ensures proper program execution.
- Assists in the editing of program curriculum as needed.
- Assists guests in the kitchen setting with any questions, general needs, training on the safe operation of all equipment, locating utensils, equipment and/or food items needed for their class, and keeps students informed of dishwashing and cleaning procedures of all kitchen and common spaces.
- Assists in the kitchen and gives support to the chef instructor and guests during all hands-on classes. This includes set-up, mise en place, clean-up, and restocking equipment.
- Maintains up to date Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for private programs, cooking classes, and beverage classes, to ensure efficiency and fiscal success.

Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year of related work experience in the wine/beverage, foodservice, event management, or hospitality industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, food and beverage management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the wine and beverage, foodservice, event management, or hospitality industry within a restaurant, tasting room, or similar environment preferred.

We are committed to finding exceptional talent to represent our Wine Enthusiast boutique coming to SoHo November 2025. We are seeking dynamic Part-Time Sales Associates who are passionate about delivering outstanding in-store experiences, driving customer satisfaction, and fostering meaningful brand connections. The ideal candidate excels at creating positive, lasting customer interactions while building brand loyalty. They thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adeptly balancing multiple priorities and consistently putting the customer first. Key responsibilities include supporting sales initiatives, enhancing team and customer engagement, maintaining visual and operational standards, and contributing to the overall success of the store. This role may include opening and closing responsibilities and the potential for keyholder duties. As part of the Leap platform, this individual will have the unique opportunity to support other brands in our portfolio through new store openings, activations, and coverage needs. Familiarity with emerging retail technologies such as Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Workspace is a strong advantage.
Position Qualifications:
- Experience: A background in luxury retail, or high-touch client-facing roles, demonstrating expertise in premium customer service, brand representation, and building relationships with discerning clients.
- Availability: Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, showcasing a commitment to operational excellence.
- Physical Requirements: Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, with energy and focus while standing, walking, using ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds to meet business demands and deliver an elevated customer experience.
- Minimum Age: Must be at least 21 years old, in accordance with NY legal requirements.
Hourly Pay Range: $19/hr to $22/hr. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, competencies, and qualifications.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):
- Sales Performance: Drive results by focusing on conversion rates, Units Per Transaction (UPT), Average Unit Retail (AUR), and return clients.
- Excel in customer retention by delivering personalized experiences, leveraging effective networking, and maintaining exceptional Net Promoter Scores (NPS), fostering lasting relationships and loyalty.
- Task Management: Demonstrate efficiency and reliability in completing tasks accurately and on time.
