Installation and Service Technician Compensation:
- $25.00/hour + 5% quarterly bonuses

- Service and Compliance: Perform installations and changes of service adhering to company procedures, National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements, and local ordinances.
- Customer Service: Perform service calls, troubleshoot equipment issues, and design basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi networks, and multimedia over coax alliance (MoCA).
- Record Keeping: Complete associated record keeping in a timely manner to ensure all details are recorded for customer accounts.
- Quality Assurance: Review and confirm the quality of service, perform necessary adjustments or fixes to provide the best possible service.
- Wi-Fi Installation: Determine the appropriate placement of devices and design of Wi-Fi networks considering Wi-Fi channels, co-channel interference, and channel utilization.
- Customer Education: Provide advanced customer education on products and services, use of devices, and set appropriate expectations.
- Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and stock vehicles and equipment, report the need for repairs or service, and report any accidents, losses, or property damage.
- Equipment Operation: Properly operate and maintain installation tools, technology, and equipment, including hand tools, light power tools, meters, or ladders.
- Digital Tools: Demonstrate the ability to navigate digital tools for work order management and digital diagnostics.
- Licensing and Safety: Obtain and maintain appropriate licensing and/or background checks as required.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Use sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Physical Demands: Perform jobs from high places, manipulate objects like pens, keyboard, mouse, connectors, fasteners, wire, and use hand tools.
- Physical Requirements: Lift and carry loads of 70 lbs. or more, work in confined spaces, stand for 50-70% of the time, and work near power lines and electricity. Work in areas with moderate noise levels.
- Equipment Capacity: Work within the manufacturer's rated weight capacity for all equipment, including ladders and aerial lifts.
