The Role You Will Play
As the Environmental, Health, Safety & Energy (EHS&E) Manager, you'll establish, implement, and continuously improve all environmental, safety, and energy programs for a rapidly scaling aerospace manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities
Environmental Management
- Lead all environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste, air permitting, stormwater, and recycling.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and interaction with federal, state, and local agencies.
- Launch sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives to minimize the environmental footprint.
Health & Safety Leadership
- Design and execute safety management systems consistent with OSHA, ISO 45001, and aerospace best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations for new and existing processes.

Background Profile

- Ensure compliance with multidisciplinary groups and EHS programs in accordance with federal, provincial, state, local regulations and internal standards to drive continual improvement and an incident free work environment.
- Assist with safety related regulatory compliance issues, as well as assisting with updating and implementation of company and divisional safety policies/standards.
- Support analysis, preparation and maintenance of mandatory /regulatory safety and environmental reports/records through EHS&RM Data Management System.
- Maintain Plant SDS Program using Site-Hawk or other designated programs.
- Update and maintain PPE Records.
- Support Worker's Compensation loss control programs and related reporting requirements.
- Maintain Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Instructions for all machinery plant wide via Brady Lock Pro or other designated programs.
- Assist with updating and revising Plant Safety Programs if necessary.
- Ensure injured employees receive appropriate medical care in a timely manner by accompanying them to Medical Provider Visits. (WorkMed, Hospital, etc.)
- Participate on Safety and Environmental Divisional Meetings.
- Act as resource to EHS Manager concerning on-site injuries and illnesses.
- Co-Coordinator of the Plant Safety Committee.
- Support Environmental, Health and Safety Policies and Practices.
- Lead Safety and Environmental issues in absence of EHS Manager.
- Update and audit LOTO Procedures on all equipment annually.
- Ensure all First Aid Supplies are always stocked sufficiently.
- Become First Responder Certified every 2 years.
- Ensure all AED's are tested and compliant on a monthly basis.
- Provide Safety Portion of New Hire Orientation.

About You:

+ Measures the effectiveness of safety/environmental courses to ensure training is being utilized on the job.
+ Administer safety incident reporting program and EH&S audit/self-inspection program.
+ Responsible for preparing reports related to EH&S performance and communicating with management.
+ Provides regular updates to supervisors on EH&S performance.
+ Work with the worker's compensation provider to assist with the administration of WC claims process.
