In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the environmental and energy management systems across the Google Data Centers (GDC) teams in the Americas in compliance with the regulatory requirements. You will play a critical part in working collaboratively across Google Cloud to identify programmatic gaps, develop and execute environmental campaigns, programs and procedures to protect Google's interests. You will also provide program leadership and oversight to new and critical environmental initiatives to continue to create and iterate our exceptional EHS program.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities**
+ Establish, implement, promote and maintain a conforming environmental and energy management system (EEMS) aligned to relevant ISO standards, including procedures and associated knowledge database encompassing all GDC operating models and considering full data center life-cycle.
+ Manage conformance, certification, and associated continual improvements against the global and regional Environmental Management Systems and the relevant standards (i.e., ISO 14001, ISO 50001, Energy Star, etc.) by engaging with the relevant stakeholders.
+ Monitor upcoming environmental and energy regulations, and collaborate with internal GDC teams to steer program requirements through a solid understanding of North and South Americas' environmental, energy and sustainability regulations and Google data center life-cycles.
+ Identify and evaluate data center environmental and energy risks for impact to the business. Design/lead programs to mitigate those risks.
