Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
Operations Manager leads the work activities of cleaning personnel on an assigned shift. Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital. Coordinates activities of the shift with those of other hospital departments. Assist the Assistant Director in maintaining high quality standards of housekeeping within set forth performance standards. Keeps leadership fully informed on the immediate condition of all assigned areas as it relates to staffing and cleanliness, in addition to ongoing training, supervising, and motivating of department personnel to ensure all schedules are covered.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
Two years of healthcare or hotel housekeeping experience is required.
Demonstrated leadership ability is preferred.

About the Position:

If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team as our Environmental Compliance Manager! This new role with Arcadia works under the EHS umbrella to develop, define, and maintain the various practices and policies that are vital to our continued operations. Your experience in regulatory compliance allows you to understand the complex nature of federal, state, and local regulations to maintain compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and implement key environmental programs and activities compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct environmental assessments and create reports on findings.
- Ensure operations adhere to all environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
- Proactively implement changes to maintain compliance.
- Serve as a key point of contact for environmental programs and policies across multiple locations.
- Partner with operations and provides guidance as necessary .
- Supports the operation with the management of all hazardous material and hazardous waste activities including collection, transportation and disposal of all hazardous waste I compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Review new hazardous materials and check incoming material for SDSs, unique usage, storage characteristics. .
- Track and analyze environmental performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements to minimize our environmental impact.
- Maintain various environmental permits.
- Manage all environmental reporting to ensure compliance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to navigate and interpret environmental regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with environmental federal/local laws and regulations
- Effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Environmental Compliance Analyst to join our rapidly growing Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) consulting practice. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working with a dynamic team of professionals on a variety of exciting projects. You will play a critical role in supporting environmental compliance and stewardship programs for diverse clients.
Responsibilities- Regulatory Analysis & Permitting: Evaluate regulatory applicability and manage permitting for new or evolving operations and assets.
- Compliance Planning & Documentation: Develop and implement compliance plans (e.g., SPCC plans, SWPPPs) and related procedures.
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit reports such as RCRA biennial reports, EPCRA Tier 2, TRI, etc.
- Audits & Training: Conduct compliance audits, lead training sessions, and assist with the implementation of management systems.
This position offers a mix of office work, field activities, and travel. Youll also have the flexibility to work remotely as part of our hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications- Education: B.S. degree in environmental science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in EHSS roles, including compliance management and project leadership.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
- Compliance Expertise: Experience with developing compliance plans (SPCC, SWPPP) and regulatory reporting (RCRA, EPCRA Tier 2, TRI).
- Audit & Training Skills: Ability to perform audits, conduct training, and support environmental management system implementation.
- Field Coordination: Experience managing or coordinating field teams and subcontractors is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Self-driven, flexibility to learn quickly, adapt to changing needs, and thrive in diverse work settings.
Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.

Pay Range$85,000$105,000 USD
