**Job Summary**
Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires review of relevant factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of information concerning specific projects or schedules.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Responsible for managing the development, planning and implementation of company industrial safety programs.
+ Oversees the development, planning and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies and procedures (chemical safety, ergonomics, illness and injury prevention and building safety) within the company.
+ Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
+ Coordinates company Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Safety Committee. Provides protection for personnel and company property.
+ Conducts periodic on-site facility audits to check for compliance with OSHA guidelines.
+ Investigates root causes of accidents and prepares reports with the findings and corrective actions.
+ Prepares and facilitates the safety training program.
+ May administer a safety incentive program.
+ Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

# Project Overview:
Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will coordinate the development, organization, and implementation of the training plan for a project's Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) program. You will collaborate to develop orientation, courses, strategies, leadership programs, and other methods for content delivery. Your work will ensure effective ES&H communication and training that will improve worker safety on the job.
# Major Responsibilities:

Thacker Pass is the largest known lithium resource in the United States. Once complete, the mine and processing facilities will produce more lithium carbonate than any other facility in the United States

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented **Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) Engineer** who is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive environmental, safety, and health programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety. This role plays a key part in ensuring site operations meet or exceed OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
**Primary Responsibilities** :
+ Develop, implement, and maintain ESH policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
+ Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk/hazard assessments to proactively identify safety and environmental risks.
+ Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
+ Manage environmental compliance programs, including air emissions, hazardous waste, stormwater, and spill prevention and control plans.
+ Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

+ Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure safe design, operation, and maintenance of facilities, systems, and equipment.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field. Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ 4+ years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety, or 2+ years with a Master's degree.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA standards, industrial safety regulations, and risk management practices.
+ Experience with hazard analysis, accident investigations, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
+ Proven ability to develop and deliver Health & Safety (H&S) training programs.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience developing technical solutions in a collaborative environment.
+ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex safety concepts to diverse stakeholders.
+ Ability to work independently on complex projects with significant impact on operational results.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Advanced degree (MS or higher) in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification(s), such as:
+ Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
+ Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
+ Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
+ Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Safety or Environmental disciplines
- Experience designing safety devices, protective equipment, or engineering controls to mitigate workplace hazards.
- Strong familiarity with ergonomics, human factors, and applied physiology in occupational settings.
- Prior experience performing safety audits and writing safety standards or procedures.
- Expertise in specialized areas such as:
+ Radiation protection
+ Toxicology
+ Stormwater, hazardous waste, or air emission compliance

Lockheed Martin Space in Courtland, AL is seeking a full-time Environmental Safety & Health Engineer (Compliance). Your responsibilities include: Reviewing operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, or industrial hygiene standards and regulations. Providing critical support to programs and operations ensuring that safety and environmental standards are met.
The PSM/PHA Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) program in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119. This role ensures the integrity of critical safety systems and supports risk reduction efforts across the site. Working under the direction of the Environmental, Health & Safety manager, the PSM Coordinator will play a key role in driving safe operations through strong systems, documentation, training, and audit support.
The PSM/PHA coordinator will require strong knowledge of PSM elements, excellent communication and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams, and the ability to track and drive corrective actions to closure in order to maintain a robust safety environment.
Other responsibilities include: Conducting field activities in support of LM Space injury prevention and environmental compliance programs, with a focus on environmental, safety, and industrial hygiene. Thorough problem solving, and effective teaming skills are needed as well as the ability to adapt to ordnance protocol/requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience with analyzing complex technical data from chemical data sheets and environmental health surveys using logic and quantitative reasoning, knowledge of environmental, safety and health regulations, and an understanding of environmental permitting and regulations.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree in applicable or related safety, environmental, and/or industrial hygiene discipline, or related engineering/scientific degree (Chemistry, Environmental Safety and Health, Physics etc) or equivalent experience/combined education.
Support the continued development, implementation, and maintenance of all 14 elements of the OSHA PSM standard.
Maintain and improve PSM related documentation, databases, and procedures.
Ensure procedural and regulatory compliance with internal and external requirements.
Develop competence in all the PSM tools.
Coordinate and facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including scheduling revalidations with key stakeholder.
Track completion of PHA action items and drive resolution across departments.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to address risks identified in hazard reviews.
Support the recertification of operating procedures and PSM audits.
Administer the MOC program to ensure all changes to process energetics, technology, equipment, or procedures are properly evaluated.
Ensure completion of pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR) and associated documentation.
Train stakeholders in MOC requirements and monitor implementation.
Participate in or lead root cause analyses and investigations for PSM level incidents.
Ensure all incident findings are documented, reviewed, and resolved.
Ensure training programs are in place for PSM covered employees.
Maintain training records and support refresher training scheduling.
Support audit preparation and coordinate internal and external PSM audits.
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to acquire a Secret Security clearance and US Citizenship required.
