The Process Engineer has the responsibility and authority for designing, maintaining and improving all regional sterilization processes. The Process Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the process operations, process data gathering, and maintenance document control processes as needed. The Process Engineer will identify and implement process related improvement activities with the intent to reduce and minimize non conformances and events. The Process Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, all equipment uptime, KPI, OEE goals, cost improvement and lean activities.

**Position Overview**
As a Process Engineer specializing in sterilization, you'll play a crucial role in designing, maintaining and improving our sterilization processes while driving efficiency and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an onsite position with future on-call responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and enhance sterilization process systems while tracking KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
+ Update department procedures and ISO documentation as needed
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reduce non-conformances.
+ Monitor equipment uptime and sterilization OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
+ Provide detailed performance reports and trend analysis to management using data analysis tools.
+ Train operators and technicians on system usage.
+ Manage projects from initiation through completion
+ Collaborate with Quality Assurance on equipment/process non-conformances and corrective actions
+ **On-Call Responsibilities:** After an initial procedure and on the job training period with multiple Sterilization team members, this role requires 24/7 on call responsibilities. While on-call, you'll serve as the first point of contact, primarily providing remote troubleshooting and coordination. You'll have the authority to engage appropriate maintenance personnel or other team members as needed, without typically requiring your physical presence onsite, though onsite presence may be occasionally required.

**Work Environment**
This role may involve exposure to various manufacturing environments including hot and humid locations, moving mechanical parts, high places, and areas with potential electrical, chemical, or noise hazards. Appropriate safety training and equipment will be provided.
**Physical Requirements**
The position requires regular use of hands for handling equipment, occasional standing, reaching with hands and arms, and the ability to lift up to ten pounds. Close vision is necessary for detailed work.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Equipment Engineer-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Wet Process Equipment sustainment, including system upgrades, tool installs and de-installs;
2. Industry experience, including providing hardware technical support to the Wet Process area;
3. Partnering with process engineering to define hardware roadmaps, including wafer processing hardware, diagnostics, data collection requirements, and hardware quality control/variation reduction;

Our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group located in Danvers Massachusetts is currently looking for an Equipment Process Engineer II with experience in equipment technologies to procure and provide technical support in new product designs and process improvements. You will be an important part of cross functional teams supporting corporate projects both internally and internationally within Medtronic and external vendors.
You will be an individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new equipment technology. Formulates, delivers and / or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies - from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

+ Equipment and Fixturing: Determine specific requirements of manufacturing operation in order to specify equipment, fixturing. May collaborate on design with suppliers to fulfill equipment and fixturing requirements.

**Duties Include:**
+ Responsible for acquiring, validating, and testing new pieces of equipment for manufacturing cell.
+ Works directly with vendor to create User Specification Requirements, manage vendor, and land equipment.
+ Develops testing plan and validate equipment to bring into production.
+ Writes all documentation for equipment.
+ Responsible to retrofitting machine, including fixture development and testing.
+ Responsible for working with a vendor / programmer for developing new programs, developing testing criteria and validating all new programs.
