Job Purpose
This is an entry level position to support the team in performing Offline Programming (OLP) utilizing simulation software and robotics knowledge to reduce new model introduction time.
They will be responsible for supporting the team to minimize the negative impact to current model production while reducing online robot programming time for new model activity
The primary tools this position uses are robotic simulation, cycle time estimations and validating tooling design in the 3D CAD/CAE environment
Key Accountabilities
· Execute new model offline simulation for individual process and
· Tooling clearance checks, cycle time validation, and robot program download under the assistance of a mentor.
· Communicate with Engineering, Mechanical Design and Electrical Design on changes needed in order to successfully install Off Line Programming.
· Validate current production cycle time and troubleshoot countermeasures for improvement.
· Support online teach team consisting of internal and contract resources at a process level for Off Line Programming implementation and cycle time verification.
· Support of overall unit initiatives and support group level business plan goals
· Create deliverables for Off Line Programming install or handoff to the supplier
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Robotics/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Welding/or Engineering Technology or an associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Experience 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. In robot simulation and/or robot programming.
- Off-line programming experience or experience with Fanuc and/or Yaskawa Motoman robotic programming.
- Robotic/Automated equipment deployment experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Purpose
The Electrical Controls Design role provides high-quality, reasonably priced, on-time hardware, software, and safety design solutions to ensure stable new model and new technology introduction in all HDMA North American manufacturing facilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Work in an engineering team atmosphere understand design requirements to create/modify automated production equipment.
- Conduct electrical controls design for automated equipment to generate hardware drawings to be used to assemble/build/wire a full controls system for production equipment
- Conduct electrical design to produce engineering software to create the control architecture for production equipment processes. (i.e. PLC, HMI, Motion Control, and Robotic programming).
- Provide on-site support to install, system up, and mature the control system for production equipment.
- Create and maintain a critical path schedule for work assignments to produce the control system design deliverables to achieve the overall project milestones for small to medium projects/ low to medium complexity.
- Conduct and attend design reviews to ensure design standards are achieved and design meets specification requirements for work assignment deliverables.
- Continuously apply engineering mindset to learn new skills/processes/technology to expands one knowledge base in relevant manufacturing technologies.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Education Required:
- 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or 2-year Electrical related degree with additional work experience
Experience
- 0-6 years experience,
- Co-op experience preferred
Skills Desired
- Knowledge of machine safety regulations.
- Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 79 standards.

**Position Overview**
As an Entry Level Equipment Engineer, you will support Construction & Mining operations. This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization and reliability of a construction and mining equipment fleet. The position will deal with day to day as well as long term issues related to an equipment fleet. The position's main focus will be to improve equipment reliability as well as implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs.

**Responsibilities**
+ Understand and comply with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements
+ Material handling and procurement
+ Create and maintain tool/filter lists and documentation
+ Inspections of equipment and parts
+ Logistics management and communication
+ Long/short range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting
+ Planning and paperwork processing to prepare for critical lifts
+ Use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability and reliability
+ Establish and maintain communications between all levels of supervision and management
+ Support of craft maintenance technicians - ordering parts, manage inventory, schedule crews, and manage quality and safety
+ Specialty projects as needed
**Qualifications**
+ Has obtained an undergraduate AS/ BS degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management
+ 1+ year of experience with equipment is preferred
+ 1+ year of experience with equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting is preferred
+ Strong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done
+ Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects at once while prioritizing tasks
+ Willingness to travel and relocate as required
+ Willingness to work in both office and field environments
+ Knowledge of CAD modeling programs is preferred
+ Ability to freely access all points of a construction site or equipment yard in wide-ranging climates and environment

Base Compensation: 80,000 - 90,000

Join an innovative program aimed at providing low-latency high-speed internet to underserved populations globally by deploying a constellation of over 3,000 satellites to Low Earth Orbit. We are seeking a talented Equipment Engineer to be part of our Satellite Hardware Manufacturing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving improved equipment uptime, availability, and capability for manufacturing our next-generation spacecraft. You will manage the full equipment lifecycle, from requirements specification to end-of-life services, ensuring high system availability and production capacity through automation and capital investment.
Responsibilities
+ Develop system requirements and collaborate with development groups to design new equipment.
+ Participate in sourcing plans for complex equipment, both COTS and custom.
+ Lead equipment integration and site acceptance testing.
+ Develop troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and spares plans for equipment.
+ Support second-line escalation of critical equipment downtime.
+ Specify and develop facilities interface requirements, including power, network, space, LN2/GN2, and PCW.
+ Train and support equipment technicians responsible for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with Space Flight Hardware Manufacturing.
+ Experience with fiber optic assembly, optic splicing, optical amplifiers.
+ Experience with laser, optical, or metrology equipment and testing.
+ Experience with Mechatronic/Electro-Mechanical systems design and integration.
+ Familiarity with Low-Rate Manufacturing Environments and New Product Introduction.
+ Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, and DMAIC.
+ Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Data Acquisition (DAQ) Systems.
+ Experience reading Wiring Diagrams and GD&T.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Labview.
+ Experience with NX Unigraphics or similar CAD software.
+ Experience with Statistical Analysis Software such as Minitab.
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
+ 3-8 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday during normal business hours. Fifty percent of your time will be spent on the shop floor, working with production teams to implement new processes, solve technical issues, and perform production development testing. Twenty-five percent will involve independent development work, analyzing data sets for production improvement, and quality control measures. The remaining twenty-five percent will be dedicated to meetings and collaboration on design introductions, production process management, and solution reviews.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $79.48/hr.
