Equity Compensation Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our Executive Compensation team, this role will act as a lead who provides enhanced subject matter expertise in all equity or stock compensation-related programs. This includes stock plan design, education, governance, compliance, and communication for all company-wide equity programs.

As a lead, you will be the main project manager responsible for administering, enhancing, and managing risk for various equity programs focused on rewarding and retaining our key populations. This includes the creation and management of timelines, stakeholders, and SOX controls. Due to the nature of work performed in the facility for this position, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Accounting, or Finance

  • 1+ years of experience performing executive compensation analysis or stock plan administration

  • Experience managing and executing stock programs, including grant cycles, vesting, dividends, or purchases

  • Experience using Excel formulas, such as xlookup or vlookup, Excel pivots, and data analysis

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and market practices

  • Ability to engage with senior executives

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or HR

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Workday and Fidelity

  • Experience with Tableau or Excel Macros

  • Experience with performance management, talent development, or other related HR fields

  • Possession of strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Master's degree

  • CECP or related Compensation Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Human Resources Assistant to answer the UAA Operator phone line during business hours; serve as the Human Resources receptionist; handle camp employment, organize employee events, and support the HR department staff as needed.

One critical component of this position is working with each camp director to manage the collection and tracking of important documentation, such as Level II background screenings, affidavits, youth protection training records, I-9 documents and other onboarding materials. This position ensures that camp hires are processed accurately and are eligible to work assigned camp sessions. Maintains HR camp policies and processes for accuracy, represents the HR department in camp meetings, and advises camp directors as appropriate. Also responsible for timely termination of camp staff according to policies.

The incumbent must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word); customer service oriented, detail oriented and work with a high-level accuracy; work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently; successfully engage with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds including high energy, intense personalities.

Responsibilities 

Recruitment Support

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process by identifying and applying efficient and effective recruiting methods based on role requirements, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Sources and pre-screens candidates and collaborates with hiring managers throughout each stage of the interview.
  • Specializes in sourcing Digital Marketing professionals across departments, including Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Account Management, AdOps, Finance, HR, Product, Software Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, and Design.
  • Schedules interviews and coordinates the preparation of interview questions and other selection materials in collaboration with recruitment team members.
  • Assists with job postings and advertisement distribution across platforms.
  • Liaises with recruiting agencies and 3rd-party vendors to coordinate candidate submissions, interviews, and feedback loops to ensure alignment with hiring timelines.
  • Collaborates with department managers to draft accurate job descriptions and define hiring criteria.
  • Partners with HR and hiring managers during the offer stage to confirm compensation ranges, incentives, start dates, and other offer details.
  • Participates in recruitment strategy meetings and provides regular updates to the People team on hiring status and pipeline health.
  • Attends recruiting sessions and virtual industry events to stay current on market and staffing trends.

HR Support & Deel Management

  • Serves as the point of contact for HR platforms, overseeing all activities related to international contractor and employee management.
  • Manages contractor onboarding/offboarding, contract creation and updates, and time-tracking workflows within HR platforms
  • Coordinates directly with HR platform representatives to resolve issues, ensure smooth platform operations, and stay informed on system updates or policy changes.
  • Ensures compliance with international contractor and employee documentation requirements and contract standards.
  • Collaborates closely with Legal, Finance, and HR stakeholders to align HR Platform-related processes with broader company policies.
  • Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and ensures compliance in all HR and hiring practices.
  • Supports broader HR functions as needed, including record keeping, compliance, and onboarding logistics.

Additional Duties

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

      • BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or relevant field. 
      • At least 3+ years of experience working as a recruiter/ talent acquisition specialist, HR generalist or similar position, preferably focusing on the advertising/marketing or tech industry. 
      • Strong understanding of HR processes, including onboarding, compliance, and employee lifecycle.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong negotiation tactics. 
      • Outstanding organizational and planning skills
      • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
      • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
      • Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and hiring/recruitment best practices
      • Reliable with respect to confidentiality
      • Hands-on experience with HR platforms like Deel, TriNet, and HiBob is preferred. 
      • Experience with Microsoft Suite and the entire Google Suite. 
      • Experience with Recruitment platforms: Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Zip Recruiter, Glassdoor, or something similar. 
      • Experience with ATS platforms to track and manage recruitment progress.
      • Digital Marketing, ad tech, and or advertising industry knowledge is a plus 
      • This role may involve occasional travel for in-person collaboration, meetings, trainings, etc.
