Provide a bridge for existing equity research coverage of consumer finance companies, including credit card and consumer lenders, mortgage lenders and servicers, and the GSEs.
Produce company reports, thematic research, and timely event-driven analysis.
Leverage Bloomberg's proprietary data sets, BI data and analytics, as well as company calls and announcements to form actionable insights.
We'll trust you to:
Work closely with our regional and global team of analysts located in Asia, Europe and the U.S.
Monitor and interpret major company developments and identify macro themes and trends affecting these industries.
Manage earnings cycle, including previews, reviews and maintaining earnings models fueled by live Bloomberg data.
Collaborate with other research product teams, including Litigation, Policy, Credit and ESG for company specific and thematic analysis.
Interact with investors, industry contacts, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies.
Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies.
Build and manage relationships with internal departments and external market professionals to grow a franchise and develop an ecosystem.
You'll need to have:
3-5 years experience in Equity Research, specializing in Financials companies in the U.S.
Sell-side or buy-side Research Analysis experience preferred.
Detailed knowledge of these specific aspects of the Financials sector in the U.S.
Experience interpreting financial documents and performing quantitative financial analysis.
Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting.
Strong primary research and writing skills.
Good verbal communication and presentation skills.
Self-starter, entrepreneurial thinker and collaborative teammate
Strong organizational skills and capable of prioritising multiple projects.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
We'd love to see:
CFA designation and/or MBA degree or equivalent experience, and/or graduate educational experience.
Experience using Python and/or visualization tools (i.e Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense).
Ability to harness generative AI or machine learning platforms.

Salary Range = 75 - 85 USD Hourly

We are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Manager to oversee the performance and integrity of our Syndicated loans portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring sound risk management, regulatory compliance, and optimal asset performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, knowledge of OCC standards, and hands-on experience in transaction monitoring and stress testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate portfolio transactions to ensure alignment with credit strategy and risk parameters
- Oversee the performance of portfolio assets, identifying trends and early warning signals
- Manage periodic renewals and ensure timely updates of credit files and borrower profiles
- Conduct periodic reviews in accordance with OCC guidelines and internal standards
- Perform stress testing to assess portfolio resilience under adverse scenarios
- Track and monitor covenant compliance, escalating breaches and recommending corrective actions
- Maintain accurate portfolio data and produce reports on exposure, concentration, liquidity, and profitability for management and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in syndicated loan portfolio management, credit risk, corporate credit analysis or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of OCC regulations, covenant structures, and stress testing methodologies
- Proficiency in portfolio monitoring tools and financial reporting systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

**Job Description:**

This role executes intake, prioritization, and impact assessment activities in accordance with policies and standards. - Manage portfolio exceptions of JPMWM SBL clients
