**Overview / Position Summary**
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products and raw materials are configured in Great Plains Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in accordance with established practices. + Serves as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) within the ID/AST department for the Great Plains Master Data product/process configuration.
+ Participates in product development by providing information which support the initial entry of parts into Great Plains.
+ Responsible for completing, documentation submission to MDO for new products, or modification of existing products. Data includes, but are not limited to: Expiration Dating, Labor Route Files (for labor costs), and Bills of Materials (for material costs).
+ Participates in all design transfer by providing information which support the initial entry of parts into Great Plains.
+ Coordinate review and approval of submitted documents with QMRC, Master Data Organization and Documentation Specialists.
+ Receives all requests for new material and modified master data from within the business/plant.

    Key Responsibilities:
