We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to work for our Central Ohio client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that project scope and objectives are met within the given time and budget constraints
  • Define, build, and oversee the development of project scope and schedule
  • Lead the full-cycle implementation of ERP systems, including planning, design, testing, and go-live phases.
  • Execute deliverables in line with the organizational vision and strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Experience leading development projects of various size, through the full project life cycle (PLC) - including detailed system/software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Demonstrated people leadership in business and technical environments

Job Title: ERP Project Manager

Type: Contract

Compensation: 80-110/hr

Contractor Work Model: Hybrid

Experienced ERP Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of the new SaaS application. This role will support transitioning from its current EBS and related applications to a modern, integrated ERP platform that will enhance core business functions. Upon completion of pre-implementation activities, the ERP modernization effort is expected to span approximately three years, demanding consistent leadership and coordinated efforts across all phases of the implementation lifecycle.

The ERP Project Manager will lead all phases of the implementation lifecycle, from initial planning and vendor coordination through execution and go-live support, ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. This role encompasses pre-implementation planning and complete lifecycle management, requiring close coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align with organizational goals.

The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Pre-Implementation:

  • Project Mobilization

  • Resource Planning

  • Project Infrastructure Setup

  • Project Charter and Kickoff Preparation

Implementation:

  • Project Planning and Initiation

  • Engagement and Communication

  • Implementation Coordination

  • Risk, Issue, and Change Management

  • Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support
