**About the role:**
First level of primary functional support & point of contact for day - to - day application related issues or questions that users may report, having primary focus on Oracle JD Edwards ERP -based solutions designed & deployed for smooth functioning of business processes within ERP & its interface other companion applications while liaising with all stakeholders
**How you will contribute:**
+ Accountable for providing effective support while operating in a complex, cross-functional and international environment.
+ Resolve application issues reported via calls, chat, emails or ticketing system
+ Analyze internal customer issues, requirements and facilitate solutions for day-to-day ERP support of production issues
+ Troubleshoot problems, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues and problems, recommend/design solutions, test, train users, and support within the area of functional responsibility

+ Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, system users & consult Takeda Global ERP team / Subject Matter Expert (SME) for resolution as and when needed
+ Track and report Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
+ Investigate Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Why, What, Where, When, Who, How (5W1H) methodology
+ Monitor "Alert" email notifications for failed transaction in JDE for standalone & Interface related transactions with ERP for potential issues, troubleshoot and resolve
+ Create/Maintain ERP reports in JDE reporting tool Reports Now
+ Maintain & Update Support issues database, resolution, analyze occurrence of issues / repetitive issues & provide solutions to improve & reduce occurrence
+ Develop, Maintain, Review & Update ERP related Process Workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, Work Instructions etc. as needed for Covington site
+ Educate & Provide training to End Users on various modules of JD Edward ERP
+ Gather Covington User Requirements for changes, continuous improvements, automation needs, enhancements etc., review & analyze, prepare functional specifications, follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Initiate ERP Change Request, collaborate with technical team to get developed, test, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & go live to improve business efficiency and productivity
+ Attend weekly JDE Change Request Board (CRB) meetings
**What you bring to Takeda:**
+ Bachelor of Science (Engineering Preferred)
+ 3 to 5 yrs. experience in support role.
+ Experience in GxP environment like GDP, GMP etc.
+ Experience in working in Pharmaceuticals Industry
+ Proficiency in Office 365 / Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software

Education

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience using ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with documentation and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Ivanti ITSM).
- Experience working with Unix-based systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of handling pressure and prioritizing tasks in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in solving complex problems.
- Ability to interpret data via spreadsheets and bar graphs.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$73,840.00 - $107,120.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ERP Application Support Specialist I is a key member of the team and responsible for supporting technology to improve business performance and sustainability. Performs analysis, problem resolution, and application support, for the district's ERP system. Participates in the assessment of software application issues, the research and development of technical solutions, testing, upgrades, and operational maintenance; as well as other tasks required in support of overall system performance. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Information Systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides tier one support for ERP application-related incidents, escalates requests and problems to tier two support in a timely and efficient manner. Tracks issues and provides timely communication to users on the status of their service requests and incidents. Monitors appropriate application maintenance in the production and live ERP environments. Routinely audits security in all ERP environments to ensure all users are appropriately provisioned for their role and function.
Liaises with Human Resources, Business Services, and technical staff to ensure application-related incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Assists with ERP application proof-of-concept testing, validation, and verification of the system in support of the implementation of new application releases/upgrades.
Provides insight from an end user perspective, to assist with the design, and creation of course curriculum and support resources. (i.e., user manuals, quick reference guides and training videos).
All other duties, as assigned and required, in order to perform the above services.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of information systems experience in a client facing role providing support on web-based or enterprise software required.
Knowledge of Finance, Human Resources, and Payroll processes preferred.
Proposes solutions and makes recommendations to improve business processes and increase operational efficiency for mission critical enterprise systems.
Must be able to apply strong analytical skills and ability to collate and interpret data from various sources to make decisions. Proven ability to quickly identify problems, form solutions, and execute step-by-step troubleshooting procedures.
Requires regular, frequent contact and the ability to liaise with various internal functional departments and areas (i.e.
HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Schools). Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with inter-organizational teams.
Requires regular, frequent contact with external personnel (i.e., vendors, consultants, and/or contractors) of influence. Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills are required for interacting and working with various levels of individuals.
