Job Summary
The Event Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of floor operations, including set-up, removal and operations of technology equipment in a hotel environment with a focus on delivering unmatched customer service and providing an overall positive experience for our guest/client.
Essential Functions
- Supervise non-union, union and contract labor to ensure all set up and strikes are completed according to Pinnacle Live's standards.
- Ensure AM and PM shifts receive clear communication of daily expectations and all log information detailed and complete
- Greet guest/client before the event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
- Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events.
- Follow through on all client requests and look for opportunities to enhance the client's event
- Ensures all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
- Complies and enforces all Company security and safety measures
- Manage venue inventory and location of equipment to ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
- Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to supervisor
- Continually work toward updating and improving technical skills
- Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
- Maintain accurate client event information into the Company's billing/event order system
- Review invoice with client and obtain client's signature on invoice and add-ons
- Ensure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized and up to Company standards
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Indirectly provide oversight to technical crew for daily activities. Provide coaching, mentoring, directing work.
Education & Experience
- Two (2) to three (3) year's prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry.
- Two (2) years' advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment.
- Computer proficiency

Job Description
The Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with the floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment with a focus on delivering unmatched customer service to our guests and clients.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
- Greet guests/clients before event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
- Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
- Follows through on all client requests
- Look for opportunities to enhance client's event
- Maintain accurate client event information within the Company's business systems
- Review daily invoices with client and obtain client's signature on invoice(s)
- Comply with all Company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment and ensures inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
- Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
- Ensure any lost stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management.
- Ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.
- Make sure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Company standards
- Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging and computer operation and networking.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry
- Computer proficiency (hardware, software and networking

What You Would Get To Do:
In this capacity, the ideal candidate would represent the FIRST brand embedded within a Solutions account for a Financial Services company. FIRST Solutions is the proprietary strategic meetings management model offered by FIRST, which embeds specialist talent into organizations to provide Content, Creative, Digital Technology, Management & Delivery, and Data & Insights. The Event Technology Manager is responsible for assisting clients in navigating registration websites, supporting the integration of new technology platforms, and managing data, while collaborating closely with the event delivery team. This role involves assisting the events team with the implementation and ongoing support of new technology platforms, as well as leveraging advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage event information and generate detailed reports.
Your Contributions
- Advises on user experience of all pre-event and onsite registration for both virtual and in-person events
- Implementation and project management of event registration websites, app builds and all technological aspects of our events
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Manage client evaluation communications such as save-the-dates, invitations, registration, confirmations, etc.
- Database management to ensure consistency of information, accurate data, inputting new data when required and generating lists upon request
- Effectively communicate with internal and external clients via available communication lines; responding to all client queries within the agreed service level agreements
- Work with Event delivery team on overall program logistics, production, and implementation
- Coordination of name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, email confirmations, agenda, signage etc. where appropriate
- Registration desk flow design and set up
- Lead contact for attendee management and technology vendors including pre-event and during execution
- Assist in contacting clients for relevant information pertaining to the event
- Create and distribute post event client surveys
- Coordinate planning and utilization of mobile apps. May assist with build depending on platform.
- List manipulation to provide team members with relevant registration data, year on year statistics, and insight into varied elements and event analytics
- Manage relationships with technology suppliers including the negotiation of contracts
- Review and manage any relevant third-party vendor invoice reconciliation e.g. badging / attendee tracking etc
- Provide the client with cost savings / value adds whenever possible
- Assist with the training of new joiners and mentoring existing team members
- Travel (15-20% annually) for on-site management of events to ensure full success and reconciliation.

- 5-7+ years of experience in Event Technology and Attendee Management including meeting planning and coordination
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficient programming skills of HTML and CSS is beneficial
- Strong proficiency with registration website platforms such as Cvent, Bizzabo, Certain, Qualtrics or other registration website platforms
- Experience with virtual meeting and event platforms such as Intrado, GlobalMeet / TalkPoint, Zoom, WebEx, SpotMe, Concise Chime or other virtual meeting and event platforms
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office - specifically with Excel (i.e. comfortable with VLOOKUP function) and PowerPoint
- Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels
- Extensive industry knowledge of new suppliers, services, and best practices
- Strong client management skills with the ability to influence and lead by example, fostering a positive environment
- Strong ability to create best practice and take on new initiatives independently
