**SUMMARY**
The Director of Business Development and Sales Excellence is responsible for driving strategic organic growth, increasing year-over-year revenue, pricing strategy, attach strategy, CRM & installation business management from new and existing market segments and cross-functional business units. This role focuses on understanding market dynamics, identifying target customers, developing business strategies, and improving overall market share. The Director will work closely with account directors to understand business requirements and market needs, recognize new market opportunities, and ensure alignment with company business aims. This position includes direct leadership of Business Development/ Sales Excellence, Marketing, Customer Care, and Business Analyst functions.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Quality Excellence Manager plays a critical role in upholding and advancing Solina USA's food safety and quality programs. This role is responsible for setting and enforcing non-negotiable quality and food safety standards, supporting regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position collaborates closely with U.S. manufacturing facilities, supply chain teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent, safe, and high-performing products.
The Quality Excellence Manager also plays a key role in training, auditing, digital transformation, and advising on capital investments to align with quality standards.

- Support digital transformation: Lead or participate in quality-related digital projects such as QC plan optimization, specification management, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Horizon scanning: Monitor emerging regulatory trends, industry best practices, and risk factors in areas such as allergens, foreign material control, and sanitation to proactively evolve standards and processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in food science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in supplier quality assurance or related QA/QC role in the U.S. food industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of FDA, USDA, FSMA, and GFSI (e.g., BRC, SQF) standards.
- Demonstrated experience in auditing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Effective communicator and trainer with experience developing and delivering technical content.
- Project management experience, particularly with digital systems, quality software, or ERP platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality systems; experience with digital QMS or specification platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with foreign body prevention, allergen management, sanitation validation, and cleaning systems.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is performed in a factory setting, with most of the time being spent moving around different areas of manufacturing and shipping areas. The incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. This position will be exposed to all hazards located at manufacturing sites including noise, fumes, excessive heat/cold, dust, welding arc, all chemicals associated with the manufacturing areas, fire, smoke, unstable debris and confined spaces. Environment is fast-paced and demanding most of the time. This position will require long days to support the Lean initiative for a multi-site, four shift, seven day a week operation.

Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrist rests. UW Health Care Direct has been an affiliate of UW Health since 1994. In July of 2020 UW Health Care Direct (formerly known as Chartwell Midwest Wisconsin) officially consolidated all community- based home health services to Chartwell from UW Health and Unity Point Health leading to the establishment of UW Health Care Direct. POSITION SUMMARY
The Performance Excellence Coordinator will perform a variety of complex projects as directed by Performance Excellence Program Manager and assist in the planning, execution, and coordination of projects and strategic initiatives.
The Performance Excellence Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining compliance with various regulatory and accreditation standards and supporting ongoing performance improvement efforts. This position will need to collaborate across departments and ensure data-driven quality initiatives and timely readiness for surveys or audits. This position will need to possess the judgment and initiative to act independently within clear guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the position's responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Coordinate strategic and operational projects to support regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
- Utilize project management tools and principles to define and assist in managing project scope, monitor timelines and deliverables, and communicate and identify pathways to resolve risks and barriers.
- Effectively plan and facilitate meetings of varied participants using standard meeting management tools and techniques (e.g., agendas, meeting roles, ground rules, minutes, action items, and decision tracking).
- Assists Performance Excellence department with various functions.
- Proactively monitors and maintains updated information regarding business licensure renewals and regulatory notices for clinical operations.
- Support departments in the coordination and monitoring of quality indicators and performance improvement plans.
- Assist departments in coordinating internal audits by developing tools, forms, and resources for quality monitoring and compliance.
- Always maintain organized records for survey readiness.
- Successfully completes initial and ongoing organizational and department education, training, and competency requirements.
- Infection Control: Understands, demonstrates, and follows organizational infection control guidelines (CDIC).
- Quality: Focuses on improving processes and champions efficiency in daily work activities.
- Safety: Promotes a culture of safety by taking accountability for individual actions, including but not limited to, promptly reporting errors or near misses via the organization's occurrence reporting system and participating in developing improved safety processes, as appropriate. (ADM023, Mission Statement).

- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
- Project management background is strongly preferred.
- Previous healthcare background required.
- Experience with performance improvement and regulatory based activities preferred.

- Must be highly organized with strong time management skills to meet various deadlines.
- Must have strong attention to detail skills.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess an advanced understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and OneNote.
- Ability to critically assess department and project needs, make improvements, and proactively put forth ideas that are above-and-beyond the initial ask, to develop better processes and supporting materials.
- Must generate professional and clear written communication that is tailored to the audience.

Description
A critical member of the Manufacturing Lead Team, the Manufacturing Excellence Manager reports directly to the Director of Production and is expected to play a key role in the development of the overall strategies for Manufacturing Operations. The position is uniquely accountable to; identify, develop and provide support for the implementation of the appropriate Manufacturing program(s) across all six MonoSol production sites.
Primary Responsibilities
* Leadership and Direction
Exemplify the MonoSol leadership behaviors of; live the values, take action, and effective communication.

Understand the business needs and develop a Manufacturing Excellence program to support the business needs.
* Continuous Improvement
Foster a culture of Continual Improvement across Manufacturing.
* Personal Capability Building
Develop a deep understanding of the chosen Manufacturing Excellence program(s) (TPM/TPS/Six Sigma).
* Coaching
Lead the implementation of the chosen Manufacturing Excellence program(s) across all sites and functions. Support and coach the leadership of Manufacturing on the implementation of the program(s).
* Organizational Capability Building
Support the Manufacturing Lead Team in ensuring that the leadership organization has the capabilities needed to deliver the needs of the business, now and for the future.
TASKS
* Ensure that there is "buy in" for the Manufacturing program(s) at all levels across the organization.
* Develop multi-year plans to execute the program(s) across all sites and functions.
* Hold leadership (at all levels) accountable to deliver the agreed program(s)/action plans.
* Train the organization in the skills and capabilities needed to execute the program(s).
* Put in place the tracking systems required to; monitor progress, conduct gap analyses, and develop action plans to close any gaps.
* Role model the desired culture for the organization.
* Work with the Talent Experience team to establish the appropriate Reward and Recognition systems to support the culture needed to deliver the program.
* Develop and implement a Loss Analysis program for Supply Chain Operations.
* Spend time "on the floor" to be able to assess the current state of the organization and design appropriate plans/interventions to drive Manufacturing Excellence.
* Benchmark within Kuraray, and externally, to identify ways to enhance Manufacturing Excellence in MonoSol.
Experience
* Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years).
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level (Preferred), Certified Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt
* Proven track record of delivering significant improvements in operational efficiency and process performance using TPM/TPS/Six Sigma.
